Chill, House, Pop | Fast-Rising NICOLAS First Original “TEST DRIVE” Begins Take-off
Posted by VMan on November 15, 2020
NICOLAS is new and not much known is about him. Yet it’s songs like, “Test Drive,” and very new, very hype releases that keep people sharply eyeing the stir being generated by a seemingly unknown, yet experienced musician.
Vocal works collides naturally with synth-infused production, tempos and atmospheres bring out the spirit of the creative nature at hand, and a bit of undefinable zest straps together and completes something rich and time-testing within the framework of a song.
Featured on a collaboration with David Dann, “You & Me,” in 2020 and now laying out singles which are part of a bigger EP launch, NICOLAS is given fans and listeners plenty to latch onto at an early stage.
Momentum is building and NICOLAS as front-and-center of the action.
I’m still figuring out a way to find who I am and what my life will be and I’m using music to express my feelings and internet to have a record of who I am. If you want to remember, be part of my, your, our project.’

Chill, Indie | Florida’s Pagu Showcases Open-Ended Indie-Pop Style In “Tell Me”
Posted by VMan on November 4, 2020
Single “Tell Me” brings together many popular music elements and arranges it in smooth way, the edge built-in giving it a certain ‘pop’ that grabs and holds the ear.
A trait of the Florida Panhandle displayed is his seeming skill to sort-of juggle all the right elements creatively and funnel it down into something distinct and his style, “Tell Me” being one of many singles that feels rendered through a frame such as this.
With genres such as indie-pop/electronic being inspirations, equipped with a sense of modern online culture, and a unique balance music/tech/graphic design skill at his side – Pagu doesn’t leave anything off the table when it comes to what may play into his music and releases.
“‘Tell Me” is about finding purpose and meaning in life. My friends and I are personally sick and tired of being forced to be distracted and stuck in ‘going through the motions’ mode. The song was made in this mindset and sort of rebels against those ideas.”
– Pagu (Jonah Tatum)
Social and streaming channels shows Pagu is hitting some high marks, future success thresholds of his career are more than likely nearer than what appears.

Alternative, Chill | Listen to Tonner’s debut EP, Whispers in the Dark
Posted by VMan on October 4, 2020
Tonner is the shadowy indie pop alter ego of Orlando based songwriter/producer, Matthew Tonner. His new debut EP, Whispers in the Dark, is a 8 track project that blends elements of indie rock, pop, funk and electronica. Lyrically, the EP oscillates between heartbreak and healing, delivered with a mixture of aloofness and vulnerability. The production is crisp, with choice arrangements built on swirling synths, radiant piano chords, and Tonner’s signature reverb-drenched electric guitar melodies. Chill, Hip-Hop | MUNDU and Kaelin Ellis team up to “Brag and Boast”
Posted by VMan on October 1, 2020
If you’re a fan of Smino, Monte Booker and the Zero Fatigue crew I think I may have just found the British version. South London’s Michael Kiggundu better known as MUNDU returns with his latest offering ‘Brag & Boast’, a chilled out yet bouncy fusion of R&B, hip-hop and trap produced by Orlando, FL based artist Kaelin Ellis. Check out the visual above and a quote from MUNDU on the collab below!
“Brag and Boast originally started as a freestyle celebrating the wins that I have experienced this year in the midst of the global pandemic, as well as the goals I am currently working to hit. Having first heard the instrumental by Kaelin Ellis (Lupe Fiasco, Virgil Abloh, Kaytranada) through a video that he posted on social media, I instantly fell in love with it and began writing the first verse with the video on repeat. Following that, I downloaded the instrumental and recorded the freestyle as a response.”– MUNDU
