Electro, Pop, Videos | Timeflies – All The Way [Lyric Video]

Posted by on January 21, 2014

    [do action=”youtube” videoid=”N0Brmnl29uU”/]

VMan shared this new heater from Timeflies with you yesterday, but if you made the mistake of passing on it, I’m here to give you a chance for redemption.  Feast your eyes on this downhill lyric video, which adds even more life to the adrenaline pounding production.  Chances are this record will be hitting the radio waves soon, so take my advice and grab it while it’s still heating up.

Cover, Indie, Pop | Timeflies Tuesday – Say Something

Posted by on January 15, 2014

    [do action=”youtube” videoid=”grWJ5AoGY00″/]

With what I’m expecting to be a banger of a single coming next week, Timeflies deliver yet another slow jam.  This week’s installment, a cover of A Great Big World’s, “Say Something”.  Like the New York made indie pop/rock duo, A Great Big World, Cal and Rez tackle this mellow piano ballad, but as always, they add an extra pinch of seasoning.  Enjoy this one before they turn up next week with their brand new single, “All The Way”.

Pop, Videos | Timeflies Tuesday – Started Out On A Tuesday [Free Downloads]

Posted by on January 9, 2014

    [do action=”youtube” videoid=”EnbemIr9FOI”/]

By now rapping up the previous year and starting the new is more or less routine for Calvin and Robert.  They have been busy without a doubt, capping off 2013 with a remix to the throwback 90’s classic, “Save Tonight”.  Skillz may have the rap game “Rap Up” on lock, but Timeflies is holding the belt for the pop counterpart.  A few days after dropping this video, they opened the flood gates and released the highly requested downloads for all of their 2013 Tuesday installments.  Cop those all below and make sure to thank the dudes on Twitter.

Lastly, we have this week’s visual, which is an acoustic cover of their own fan favorite smash, “Ride”.

Lastly x2, new single “All The Way” coming 1.20.14.

Free downloads and the Ride acoustic after the jump!

Alternative, Hip-Hop, Videos | Aer – Says She Loves Me

Posted by on January 7, 2014

    [do action=”youtube” videoid=”B2kuPuepRBI”/]

Feast your eyes on Aer’s vibrant new video, “Says She Loves Me”.  Snappy strums leads the beat while David and Carter relive their relationship experiences through punchy & quotable lyrics.  This video turns back the clocks and unlocks the “bright on white” palette for our viewing pleasure – certainly a step outside of what we’re used to expecting from the Boston duo, but they play the part well.  Grab the track below on iTunes and tune up for their self titled album dropping January 21st!

Cover, Pop, Videos | Timeflies Tuesday: Let Her Go

Posted by on December 17, 2013

    [do action=”youtube” videoid=”eb7IDqTZ5w0″/]

Sometimes Timeflies Tuesday is a new joint you can ride to. Sometimes it’s a tranquil track you can make babies (or non babies) to.  Sometimes it’s both. This week Cal and Rez take on Passenger’s 2012 hit, “Let Her Go”. I’m not going to come out and say Cal has the voice of Passenger’s front man, Mike Rosenberg, but they do put one hell of a spin on this international chart topper.

Pop, Videos | Timeflies Tuesday – Timber

Posted by on December 11, 2013

    [do action=”youtube” videoid=”Kkb7GYfd5gc”/]

If you didn’t see Timeflies twisting the chart topping track, “Timber”, you aren’t paying close enough attention.  Pitbull, Ke$ha, and producers Dr. Luke, Sermstyle, & Cirkut may have rode this radio hit to the top of the charts, but Rez and Cal just demolished this remix.  Cal. Goes. IN.

    Alternative, Hip-Hop | Aer – Spades, Clubs, & Diamonds

Posted by on December 10, 2013

aer spades clubs diamonds You don’t have to be Phil Helmuth to a fan of Aer’s newest single, “Spades, Clubs, & Diamonds”.  Hell, you don’t even have to know how to play poker.  This breezy new cut from the Boston duo strong on their come up is exactly what we expected; light, smooth, and blended with their signature sounds.  David initiates the vocals, but Carter comes in soon after to deliver a very balanced piece of work.  This track marks the second single off their forthcoming self-titled album due out 1/21/14.  Grab this track for free when you pre-order the album, or purchase it solo on iTunes.
