Featuring smooth acoustic guitar, clean wobbles, and fresh vocals from The ReMINDers, Timeline, & Sloppy Joe, “Closer to the Sun” delivers a unique sound that showcases Amp‘s wealth of potential to grow outside of his involvement with Zion I and flourish as an individual. Part 2 of the 5 mixtape compilation Flipsyde is currently putting together. A mix of old and new, reworked, originals, brand new collabs, & more, this 5 song project is a good variety of Flipsyde’s sound versatility. With a feature from the beautiful Nicole Scherzinger and production from Akon, Zion I, & Kardinal Offishall, it’s a well structured project. I posted a track of Aer’s about a week back. As I said before they bring a nice reggae vibe to the hip-hop scene. They dropped this video a few days ago, given the production isn’t up to par of artist like Mike Posner (unless your watching “Bow Chica Wow Wow”). This is still a great track, these guys deserve big respect on it.

I am never disappointed by what Zion I releases. The verses on this track are FIRE and I’m really feeling this beat.
