Twenty year old Justin Caruso is undoubtedly talented in a variety of EDM genres. Posted above is his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “High by the Beach” which he released only a month after his “What Do You Mean” remix. Justin’s ability to listen to a song and remix it in a way that fits the song so perfectly seems to come naturally to him. If his music isn’t impressive enough, he also attends USC Thornton School of Music where he is taught material that he already knows and then asked to take a test on it. As Justin continues to develop his sound, keep an eye on him because he’s going to do big things.

Future Trap | EGZOD’s Cinematic “Marianne” Single Builds A World Through One Song

I came across a small account with a big name today. His name is Egzod, his music expresses a cultural narrative purely through instrumentation. This signature theme is this time expressed in a 17th-18th century frame – and beautifully at that – through “Marianne”.

The tune is long and contains many versus, but all flows brilliantly together. Elements of marching / battle music theory and future bass all make it’s way to the listeners ear in a single experience. Try it for yourself and follow Egzod above.

We all know you hate making plans for New Years Eve, so we’re here to make it easy for you. Our buds over at Solé Bicycles have teamed up with SnowGlobe Music Festival to bring Volume 44 of their legendary Fixtape Series, featuring Autograf. Consider it your digital countdown to what will be the best New Years Eve party this side of the Mississippi.

“The beauty of traveling the world is experiencing contrast. One moment you’re on a beach in Malaysia, the next you’re on a snowcapped mountain on Lake Tahoe. After spending the last couple weeks in the sweltering heat of places like Thailand, India, and Singapore, it’ll be a baptism of sorts to finally experience a proper winter at Snowglobe Festival. We made this mix with the idea of contrast in mind because without darkness there is no light and without silence, there is no music. So what a beautiful world it is to have contrast.” – Autograf

Leah Haxhi, NYC singer/songwriter, hits us with another Adele cover that rivals all the competition. Keeping it simple with just minimal piano and vocals, this live video gives you the feeling you are sitting right there in the studio with Leah. At first it seems as if she is keeping it very close to the original, but then the second chorus breaks off into a free-style bridge that adds a unique twist to the song. Live studio visuals by Marin Hamataj and Brenton Ruh also complement the relaxed feeling of the cover. We expect to see big things from Leah in the near future, as she is putting together a demo of original songs and also working on new tracks with various DJs and producers such as Afrojack, Shelco Garcia and Teenwolf, and some other hard-hitters in the EDM and pop world. Bass | Rob Gasser’s “Copycat” EP Is A Melodic Bass Gem

Rob Gasser’s Copycat EP, released via Fox Stevensons’ own Cloudhead Records, showcases melodic bass music through three different tempos, 174, 140, and 110. Not sure if it’s the various types of songs, or just Rob Gasser’s damn good producing, but Copycat EP is all it’s own. Featuring no vocal tracks, something that Rob has touched on previously with bass-pop releases like “Meltdown (ft. Richard Caddock,)” the 3-track EP delivers the same level of contentment you’d get from any favorite album, a true gem and a nice pack of tunes to hold fans over a while.
