Electro-House, Moombahton | Alvin Risk — Infinity EP

Posted by on April 25, 2012

This new Alvin Risk EP contained a different side of Alvin we haven’t ever seen. I was sort of disappointed with this EP, not because he chose to do something different, but just because of the fact that some of the songs didn’t contain that appleaing Alvin Risk signature style that that fans have grown to love. I will admit though, I was a little disheartened when the we first got the EP track listing that his collaborations with Skrillex weren’t included. I should have seen if coming though being it does have Skrillex’s name on the track and all. With that being said, two out of the four tracks on here are pretty dope tracks. Survival has some of the most intricate combinations of laser synth sounds, alongside Sirah’s vocals. Same thing with Psychotic; bringing some crazy synth sounds along with an up-beat tempo. Infinity and Pray lacked the Alvin Risk esque style, which is why I wasn’t a fan of the tracks, nevertheless give each track a chance. You can grab the EP on Beatport HERE.

Albums, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Electro-House, Progressive House | Seven Lions — Polarize EP

Posted by on April 25, 2012

Has anyone heard a dissapointing Seven Lions track yet, because I haven’t. This EP has been on repeat for the past day few days since its release and I know Mach is on the same boat. What a great combination of genre’s in one EP and variation of sounds that just keep the listener coming back for more. I can’t get enough of Below Us and also the Dnb Remix by Smooth. Every track on this EP is truley unique and astonishing in its own way. I could go on all day talking about how amazing this tracks are, but I would rather let you guys enjoy them yourselves. You can grab a free track off the EP given away by Viper Recordings by clicking Read On. Grab this EP on Beatport HERE.

DJ-Set, Dubstep, Electro | Knife Party @ UKF’s 3rd Birthday

Posted by on April 22, 2012

What an incredible performance from Knife Party (Pendulum) at UKF’s 3rd birthday celebration. The set features all four of Knife Party’s new tracks, ‘Fuck Em,’ ‘Centipede,’ ‘Sleaze,’ and ‘Bonfire,’ They are releasing on Knife Party’s new EP, ‘Rage Valley,’ dropping May 6th! The set starts out with their legendary, rarely used intro titled ‘Where’s The Bloody Knife Party?’ The set contains a few other unreleased tracks of theirs, like their VIP mixes of ‘Crush On You’ and ‘Internet Friends,’ including their unreleased collaboration with Mista Jam, ‘Until They Kick Us Out.’ Personally I enjoyed this set much more than their ‘Goat & Fire’ set before UMF started.

DO SOMETHING

Moombahton | Leisure – Savior (DIRTY AUDIO Remix)

Posted by on April 18, 2012

Couldn’t wait until Moombah Mondays for this track. I have been posting about since I heard it in DJ mixes and the previews of it. That unique style that D!RTY AUD!O brings always grasps my attention. The killer dirty dutch/moombahton blend drop just takes this track to another level.  The 2edit and Aaron Prime remix on this EP also puts a nice progressive house twist on the original by Leisure. Dubstep | R Rated #25

Posted by on April 18, 2012

I’m a big fan of Taiki & Nulight and of this banger they put up on UKF a few weeks ago. It is going to be a free download as soon as their FACEBOOK page hits 5K likes so head over to their page and give them a like so we can get this tune already. So many bangers released this week, but not enough time to post! So we are going to make up for the lack of time all in this weeks R, so lets get started. Cutline has been getting this track rinsed out by so many artist for the past four months, just waiting for this track to get released. It is their remix of Ayah Marar’s Mind Controller and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The only downfall is that it can only be purched in the UK at the moment, so hopefully you guys can find a way around that.

Ayah Marar – Mind Controller (Cutline Remix) [UK ITUNES LINK ONLY]

We posted a preview of this track a few months ago, but since then the fan base around this track has nearly doubled. Filth Collin’s just releasing his Levels EP on Second to None Music including his highly praised track Levels. No this is not a joke, and no this is not a remix or remake of Avicii’s Levels. This track has some nice vocal slicing going on with some heavy bass and a great upbeat style of dubstep we don’t see too often. You can also grab the rest of the EP on Beatport HERE. Be sure to READ ON in the post to get a free download from Filth Collins that he gave away as a gift for his EP release.

Big ups to Resonance Audio for another big release on their label; these guys are putting out monster bangers that are going unnoticed. This is the first time I ever heard a track from Zaku-Chan, but it couldn’t have been a better track. This is that heavy style of bass and filth you love to see from an artist. The best way to describe this track is that it is the fusion of Funtcase and Genetix styles in one track.

Zaku-Chan – Emergency [BEATPORT LINK]

Phrenik is slowly becoming one of Mach and I’s favorite dubstep artist. He has stayed true to his dirty, heavy style all the way since we first heard about him a year ago. Just having another EP released, this was my favorite track on it by far.

This is the part you have all been waiting for. Enough talking from me, click READ ON to get to the FREE DOWNLOADS!

Dubstep | True Tiger — Eye to Eye EP

Posted by on April 16, 2012

True Tiger’s second EP has been released on their new label; the first being Haze’s EP. I hate to say this, but finally the wait for Eyeball is over. It was put up on UKF at the end of October when it was said to be released within the upcoming weeks, and obviously it never was. Since then their highly played track, Eyeball, has been destroying venues everywhere and personally I can’t get enough of it. Also on the EP are Motor Oil, Ghost, and Mystical East. Motor Oil and Ghost both are also top quality dubstep tunes. Mystical East is that track nobody expects on a Dubstep artist’s EP; like we saw Gemini do on his latest EP. It is a mellow, almost jungle sounding tune that is like nothing I have heard. You can grab the EP on Beatport HERE.
