Premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 in February (who made it his Hottest Record In The World) Tchami delivers an incredible Oklahoma-based video for “Promesses” featuring UK vocalist Kaleem Taylor. Promesses is out now on Ministry of Sound Recordings. Huge tune.
P.S. – Tchami had the best set, hands down, at Lights All Night. Smoked everyone.

Electronic | Cashmere Cat – With Me
Posted by mimada on November 26, 2013
With so many other DJ personalities to attend to and a blossoming career on the rise, it’s understandable we haven’t seen much from Cashmere Cat recently. However, yesterday this kitty premiered his newest track, “With Me,” via Pitchfork and Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. It’s everything you love about Cashmere Cat, with the distinctive beats, tambourines, soft piano chords, and those gentle builds that cascade one into the next. But “With Me” feels almost a little bit more intimate and softhearted than some of his previous work. Like a Drake ballad, this is the kind of song that when you listen to it alone, makes you feel like it was created just for you.
And it seems there’s more to look forward to! This song is just a preview of Cashmere’s “Wedding Bells” EP, set to release in January via LuckyMe Records. Fingers crossed the kitty doesn’t get cold feet! =^.^=

Electronic, Progressive House | Pryda – LYCKA
Posted by mimada on November 21, 2013
Collab post from your favorite Swedish partners in crime, Mimada & Rebecca.
”Anyone who listens to this show regularly or knows me personally, will know how I feel about Pryda”, was one of the comments from Zane Lowe on Eric Prydz’s booming hit, “Power Drive.” Tong has never been quiet with his worship of Prydz, and nor have we. This latest release, “LYCKA,” uploaded yesterday for the crowd to indulge in, gives us 100 more reasons to go on about the man and his almighty talents. In fact, Zane Lowe and BBC Radio 1 have already deemed this the “Hottest Record In The World.”
The title LYCKA, which is ”Happiness” in Swedish, fits the track like a glove, as Prydz now has opened the shutters to his dark (but oh so lovely) California studio. Pryda describes to Lowe his inspiration for the track in a brief interview below, claiming he was simply in a “good place” when he produced this project. And boy do the good vibes radiate through this sound. LYCKA is light, uplifting, just pure bliss, which is much needed in this pitch-black Swedish winter. This guy always knows how to provide listeners with what they need to warm their hearts.
Stick around to catch the interview at the end of this journey of a track, because you will be listening to the friendly voice of the most modest, down to earth DJ in the world. Enjoy his epic work below.

Alternative, RnB | Joel Compass – Run (Video)
Posted by admin on October 18, 2013
This is the latest release from the newest Photo Finish artist Joel Compass – the video for his newest single, “Run”, was released a few days ago via Vevo. “Run” is the lead single from Joel’s forthcoming LP, tentatively scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2014. “Run” premiered on BBC Radio 1 during Zane Lowe’s show back in late September as his ‘Hottest Record.’
I’ve always had a soft spot for R&B music -I can thank John Legend for that- and perhaps it’s this predisposition which attracts me to Joel Compass so easily. But, even if R&B isn’t your go-to genre, this young artist has enough originality and crossover appeal to really leave a mark.
Enjoy the song and video and stay tuned for his LP coming soon!
Dubstep | Sev & Mach’s R Rated #4
Posted by Sev on November 23, 2011
December cannot come soon enough. After watching this video, and listening to Skrillex’s BBC radio one mix on Zane Lowe’s show, anything could be on that EP releasing next month. The anticipation is killing us, but this weeks bombardment of electronic music releases should be able to hold us over for a week or two. As usual we have this weeks filthiest dubstep releases ready for you guys to rage to while you try to eat as much as possible. Hopefully the bass will help you digest your food a little better.
Im sure this song doesn’t need any introduction. Just hit play and let Borgore work his magic.
DOWNLOAD: Hollywood Undead – I Don’t Wanna Die (Borgore Remix)
Rednek is a name all dubstepers should take note of. This track was given away for free, and thank god Mach found this gem. Be careful the drop comes out of nowhere and is just straight raunchy.
DOWNLOAD: Rednek – Hallo Ian
Tantrum tore this remix apart. Definitely one of my new favorites.
DOWNLOAD: ShockOne – Relapse (Tantrum Desire Remix)
Sick remix of Paper Diamonds track by Spenny adding a little more bass that goes great with the vocals.

Alvin Risk should be another name dubstep fans take note of. At one point I thought I was in the middle of a Hoedown during this song, then there was the drop and all I remember is waking up at the end of the song.
DOWNLOAD: Steve Aoki, Rivers Cuomo – Earthquakey People feat. Rivers Cuomo (Alvin Risk Remix)
This weeks throwback is probably the dirtiest remix of this song. I have never heard this much bass in one song so fast. Skream and Benga dropped this song live and it looked like the whole crowd seizured after the second drop.
THROWBACK: Flux Pavillion – Bass Cannon (xKore Drumstep Redux)
