Always great to see emerging artists on the come up collaborate with others along the way. Yesterday, Dylan Reese released his latest offering featuring two other artists from his home state, Massachusetts. Hendersin and TJ hickey were exactly what the doctor ordered for this laid back R&B/Hip Hop track.

The state of Michigan makes a strong habit of producing some of the most influential musicians on the planet. Whatever it is that Michigoneans are doing to inspire artists to experiment with new, weird sounds and ideas, it’s definitely working and Waldo and Sango drink from that same pool. The Grand Rapids duo habitually create new inspiring music under the Soulcolection label . Yesterday the EDM world wonder child Martin Garrix released his “Wizard” top 10 list on Beatport, and the Reece Low remix of Australian duo Bombs Away made it onto the list, and if you take a listen, you’ll understand why, the track goes hard! If you’re a DJ, I strongly suggest you include this tune in your mix, that Melbourne bounce sound is gaining popularity, and the Australians are absolutely killing it! A 16 year old girl from New Zealand has hit the music world by storm with her hit single “Royals,” and it doesn’t seem like the hype is going to die any time soon. Yesterday, Lorde released another track, “Team,” off her upcoming album Heroine. Truthfully I’m not sure I get the hype behind this artist, nor the hit-factor behind her tracks, though I can’t deny that I am impressed by Lorde’s talent, and how fast her music has taken off. “Team” is minimalist in production, layered with thoughtful lyrics, which are sung in a Lana del Rey fashion. Listen for yourself and let me know what you think: we like or nah??
