Having just wrapped a Australian tour with BROODS, Xavier Dunn is setting the stage for the rest of his summer. His second single “Straight on Till Morning” dropped not too long ago and he’s now enlisting a fellow Aussie friend to remix it. GRMM has been having quite the year releasing a new wave of music and collaborating with hot vocalists like Quinn XCII. He’s not taking on SOTM and putting his own dose of bass on it. That intro on Xavier Dunn’s new record “Straight On Till Morning” just makes me want to yell “wooo!!,” it’s feel good, and hypnotic. We’ve come to know Xavier Dunn with his “take your breath away” covers, and his transition into original territory, all while maintaining those feels, has been done so impeccably. The production on this bad boy is straight sex, and the vocals will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Go on Xavier, this is a must listen!

Xavier Dunn is no new name to Fresh New Tracks. He recently revealed his debut single “Scattered” and it was only a matter of time before it got it’s first remix. Fellow Australian-native Feki, takes on “Scattered” flipping it into a chilled out blissful electronic jam. We hear theres also a remix from Soulection-affiliated artist Chris McClenney on the way.

Covering “One That I Want” from Grease is a risky move, though I have to give it to Xavier Dunn he made it his own. The title alone I didn’t know what to expect, I think the last time I saw Grease was 10 years ago, and nonetheless Xavier did his thing, and his rendition transforms this oldie into a slow tempo ballad-ish pop ditty to chill out to. Send this to the one you want love, it’s Tuesday, let Xavier’s angelic vocals and the magic of Grease do the work!

We’re betting you’ve never heard of Xavier Dunn, because before this, neither had we. I’d call this a cover, but it’s more of a reimagining than a standard cover. Australian based artist Xavier Dunn takes A$AP’s huge 2013 hit and turns it into an elegant rendition that even A$AP would respect.
