Hip-Hop, RnB | T-Pain ft. Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen – 5 O’clock
Posted by Grubeats on September 9, 2011
How bout another new cut from T-Pain; destination unknown. Receiving assistance from Lily Allen on the hook and a nice verse from Wiz which surprisingly differs from his standard weed n’ party raps, may give this song enough nut to revive his career. No confirmation whether or not this track will be featured on the Nappy Boy’s forthcoming studio album, rEVOLVEr, which is beginning to be placed in company with R.E.D. and Detox for most delayed projects. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but we’re coming up on 3 years of delays and auto-tune isn’t as cool as it used to be. I’m not sure this song has radio potential quite yet, but if T-Pain doesn’t make a move soon, I see him falling off fast with his buddy Lil Wayne.

Electro | Wiz Khalifa – No Sleep (It’s The DJ Kue Remix!)
Posted by BIGLIFE on September 5, 2011
The Sirius BPM regular, DJ KUE, successfully struck again. This latest remix flips Wiz Khalifa’s hit “No Sleep” by turning it into a dance friendly track that sports a pumping bassline and, of course, plenty of synths.

Do you want to call yourself a true Wiz Khalifa fan? Sure, you’re familiar with his newest material, but I bet a large majority of you haven’t dug into some of his earlier works. Don’t worry, there’s no shame in that when there are plenty of other buzzing topics like the most recent Mac Miller video. Here’s an opportunity to pause for a second, hit rewind, and listen to Wiz Khalifa in his most true or genuine form, that is, when he wasn’t burdened by external pressures and influences. The cuts below are off of his 2006 project “Show and Prove”.

Electro, Hip-Hop | Wiz Khalifa ft. 2Pac – Roll Up (VOODOO FARM Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 30, 2011
This track got the ultimate flip job sporting influences from electro, hip hop, mashup and a little dubstep. Who would have guessed Wiz and Tupac could sound so perfect on the same track? Don’t let the Voodoo Farm name tag scare you, this is undoubtedly worth a listen.

Hip-Hop | Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, & Curren$y – Weed Brownies
Posted by Juicebox on July 21, 2011
Shocking song title right? Alright, so heres the deal. At around the 5:30 minute mark, Big Sean mentions he’s been working on a “secret project” that is expected to come out in the next week featuring two other guys who are currently killing hip hop. This week, thus far, three tracks have leaked all featuring Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, & Curren$y (not sure if Curren$y has been killing it), but these are clearly the two guys he’s talking about. So, not sure what good it does keeping the mixtape under the radar, but expect an official release very soon.

Here are two tracks from Wiz, Young Spitta, and Big Sean. Surprisingly, only one of the songs is about smoking weed. Both tracks are dope tracks to chill to. Sean’s verses are last on both tracks in case you were wondering. Very little information regarding where these tracks would end up was released, but for the time being, we don’t really care. Judging by Wiz calling the trio Fly Boys in the beginning of O.T.T.R., I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear some more tracks from the group in the near future.
Hip-Hop | Moufy, Trae Tha Truth ft. Lupe, Wiz Khalifa, Wale | Hip-Hop

Here are some really power visuals to a track that was off Moufy’s FNT hosted mixtape, City Dreamin’. The video for Miss Newton is almost as powerful as the song itself (which is over J. Cole’s Losing My Balence). Directed by Austin Steele, the video was done very professionally, and doesn’t even feature Moufy himself. Instead the video tells the story of Miss Newton with actors. It’s nice to see a rapper that doesn’t need the complete spotlight.
