Posted by admin on February 15, 2014
So, it’s Saturday night the day after your inevitable Valentine’s Day let-down. You lie in bed thinking to yourself “why do I suck at this whole romance thing?” When in actuality, the real schmucks are those who buy in to the V-Day celebrations and end up spending ridiculous amounts of money on flowers and chocolate.
I encourage all of you to toss on this “Anti-Valentine’s Everything” mix, brought to you by We Like Peach Rings and just vibe out for the night, knowing in your heart you are the true winner of this weekend.

Bass, Hip-Hop | The Gift – DGAF (prod By Liddicat)
Posted by Nick on February 7, 2014
Big things coming from down under: Australian producer Liddicat just teamed up with Kiwi rapper The Gift to bring you an absolute banger, meeting the standards of some of the biggest names in hip-hop right now; and honestly, it’s a hell of a lot better than some of the more mainstream stuff that’s been coming out recently. With a clear trap influence on the beat, sporting a deep & dark bass line, along with a fresh flow from The Gift, you’re not going to want to miss the free download on this one. Guaranteed most-played song this weekend – get to it.

House | A’s Essential Weekend Tunes
Posted by BIGLIFE on February 7, 2014
It’s the weekend. You know what time it is. It’s time to spend entirely too much at the bar. It’s time to go home with that girl you met on Tinder that you’ll be ashamed of the next day. It’s time to hate yourself on Sunday after you look at your bank statement. We know the feeling, that’s why we’re here to enable that kind of behavior. We asked preeminent long-retired blog king “A” to gift us with a weekend playlist. Man, did he come through just in time for you to lose your dignity. His weekend selections are nothing short of fire flames. Bring your sunscreen, they’ll melt your face right off. It’s gold Jerry, gold!
Events | Above & Beyond Bring Group Therapy To Atlantic City
Posted by Middy on February 7, 2014
Still riding high from incredibly successful release of their stunning acoustic album, Above & Beyond came to the Tri-State area during Super Bowl weekend for a dose of Group Therapy at HQ Nightclub in Atlantic City. They have very few upcoming shows on the docket for this spring, so I knew that this one was a must attend, notably just after the acoustic album. I saw them in DC the weekend after they released Group Therapy, so this is becoming a tradition of mine to see them live after they release an album. I see no reason to stop. Stream the album below and read on for the rest of the review.

Listen, I’m no Family Guy groupie, nor have I ever heard of this dude Mikey Bolts until my buddy introduced him to me over the weekend, but he has some serious talent. If you breathe Oxygen, you should be able to recognize at least two of these voices. Do I think it’s kind of strange how his facial expressions look eerily like the cartoons themselves? Yes, without a doubt. Do I wish I could pull off those impersonations? Yes, without a doubt. Any way you cut it, this Bolts kid has skills. Check out his YouTube channel for more Family Guy covers.
