Barcelona are a group that’s sound rely heavily on piano’s so it makes sense for their style to translate to dance music remixes. Today we have for you the exclusive download of a progressive remix from Ted Hunter & Spencer Baird of the 2007 “Please Don’t Go” by the Seattle 4-piece band. They keep much of the original in the breaks, adding gentle piano that melds just right with the soft vocals from Barcelona and injecting an easy going synth melody to the crescendos. It’s just hit after hit from Cream Collective this week. SYZ and Orca came together on this track to create a deep ambient space with creative twists. “Outtaspace” is dreamy and mesmerizing. Vocal chops dance over pulsating synths in this chill masterpiece. I am impressed with the frequency and quality of work coming from both these artists. They are definitely names to watch out for. SYZ has an EP called “Roses” coming out on Cream Collective very soon – keep an eye out, and grab this track for free while you wait!

A few months back Sikai hit me up with his mixtape Painkilling: Summertime Sick, and after doing a quick skim of the project, the track “Still On D.R.U.G.S” stood out the most to me, from the production to the lyrical content and overall delivery, I had to share it with ya’ll. Fast forward a few months, and Sikai and his team just released must watch visuals for the record., which take you through the different emotions and psychological states that come from constant drug abuse. This is a must listen and a must download!

It features a full string ensemble, drums, a full compliment of singer, and even a guy sweeping the floor (just watch). Of course, Tony, Paavo and Jono are showing off that they are more than just guys who hit play and drag and drop presets, but real musicians.
