Never been to the land of tall, blond babes? Want to eat a 5-course meal at Axwell’s restaurant in Stockholm? (I do) Want to to go to his show in Stockholm on the 31st? Did I just get your heart racing to 128 bpm? I do not know if there will be a 5-course meal served at this comp, and if your heart automatically races to 128 bpm at the thought of Axwell, then that is dedication.
Well here is your lucky opportunity, Axwell is giving away an all expenses trip to his show at the 9,000 person Swedish Maritime Museum on August 31st, supported by NO_ID, that includes eating at his restaurant, attending his show and staying at some swanky hotel. Don’t be surprised if you meet the Ax-man himself. It would be wrong if you went all that way for free and didn’t. Think you don’t have a chance to meet Axwell? Well you can try and chat with him via Twitter tomorrow at 1pm EST for an hour, so ask him the burning questions you have always wanted to know, like what type of charcoal he uses for BBQs, how often he changes his oil, or what is his favorite snuggie.
To enter all you have to do is tag someone on FB or Twitter and explain why they are the Centre (wrong British spelling) Of Your Universe. Cute isn’t it? Edward Maya is the man, with that said so is AG for making this sick remix. It was played at a party over the weekend and the people loved it. AG took a great new song and made it into a great new remix. Again with another hot remix is Steve Aoki. Honestly I’m surprised he picked one of the less popular Weezer songs, but damn did he make it work. Moving on, after Avicii released “Street Dancer” a few weeks ago I didn’t think I would find anything with his name that I’d love. Glad I was wrong and props to The Prototypes for making this remix of “My Feeling For You.” Last track is Electro-Hop and is just straight FIRE, enough said.

Summer 618 is an event that is being held on a 7000-person field on a Woodstock-sized farm just outside of Philly and Trenton, 1 hour from NYC by a $12 train. The line-up is as follows:
Chiddy Bang
Super Mash Bros.
5 & A Dime
plus 3 Philadelphia DJs
And 4 Surprise Electronic Artists in VIP dome/stage*
The VIP will be underneath an Ultra-style geodesic dome, a second stage will also host the official VIP after-party. The event is also eco-friendly and fueled by biodiesel, run with electronic ticketing, and hosted on a natural food local-crop farm that will reinvest its profits in sustainability. These guys care about the environment and that’s something I think that is important given the current spill in the Gulf as well as debate over Cap And Trade (which is an unnecessary carbon tax on America that will do little to combat climate change). That’s just my Political Science/Philosophy coming out. Anyways…
