The information has slowly been coming out about the expedition’s arrival to New York, but now we finally have some concrete info about the show and it could not be better. ASOT 600 makes it arrival in New York at Madison Square Garden, transforming it into palace of trance, much like when SHM turned it into a nightclub a year ago. We have waited 3 years since the last time ASOT was in NYC and with Madison Square Garden the destination, it was definitely worth the wait. Continuing his onslaught of covers PropaneLv has gone back to his urban side that made his No Lie cover so successful. This time bringing us his version of TI and Lil Wayne’s “Ball”. The beat alone is nuts, but I love Lv’s flow on this one, maybe more than any other cover he’s done. His improvement over the last 6 months has been fun to watch, can’t wait to see what’s next.

Super chill dubstep mix that never really “drops,” but more of a progressive flow. Wait until about 3 minutes when the song switches direction. This is not something that you break chairs, jump into a moshpit or go flip cars to, but more of a I’ve been on the highway for 2 hours and am going to crash my car into the barrier if I hear one more Kesha song. Oh, sorry, my b its actually Ke$ha. So sorry…

Looks like we have quite the treat for everyone today. Circus Records has been kind enough to let us premiere Doctor Ps upcoming remix from the highly anticipated compilation EP, “The Shady Bunch,” featuring legends Funtcase, Cookie Monsta’, Roksonix, Flux Pavilion, and many more. Since the release of Roksonix’s impacting remix of Nero’s “Me & You,” and its feature on X-Factor’s Season 2 promotions, it felt like only a matter of time before some great producer was chosen to remix something of their’s. Could not have asked for a better person for the job.
Doctor P has always surprised me with his new work, especially with the stringed orchestral intro contained in this remix. Shocked and awed, I continued listening through this intriguing track only to find myself dancing to a most memorable electro-house twist of Roksonix and Doctor P’s styles. If I wasn’t extremely excited for the EP’s release already, I most definitely am now. Luckily we will not have to wait much longer for its December 16th release this coming Sunday. Until then, enjoy this first listen of this awesome tune.

Finally, after months of waiting, we receive the first glimpse of Skizzy Mars’ highly anticipated mixtape Phases. Produced and featured by Conner Youngblood, the track has a nice relaxed and mellow vibe to it with some classic Skiz verses. Very interested to hear the rest of Phases, especially after this long of a wait.

Halloween is not too far and of course artists have been releasing a hell-storm of tracks to suit the dark holiday. To my complete surprise, Pretty Lights jumped in on the festivities this year. With his album looming over our heads, I seriously did not expect him to release something for halloween. In this ‘mashup’ of his, he samples some good old Michael Myers. Using that day old piano repetition that can be recognized by all, but also breaking into some bass, Pretty Lights shows that even halloween can be consumed by his talents. While there is no date yet for his upcoming album, it is coming, and I can’t wait.

Yes, I know it’s not Thursday yet, but sorry to all you Twitter and Instagram freaks out there, I couldn’t wait for #TBT (Throwback Thursday) to post this one. The title really says it all, Diplo got stoned and mixed really old records for half an hour. Don’t even try to tell me this funky, psychedelic mix of old jams isn’t the best early #TBT gift ever. Give this one a listen (and maybe get stoned) when you have 30 minutes to enjoy the whole thing and soak up how stoned Diplo really must have been to throw this together for us.
