Melbourne indie/electro-pop producer, Emerson Long, just shared his latest single, “Heatwave”. The first of many planned by the producer in 2016, “Heatwave” is moving and emotional, featuring beautiful vocals with melodic synths. Emerson put it perfectly when he said, “This track was based around a relatively simple idea of meeting someone a little bit special…I just want ‘Heatwave’ to be something people can come together and have fun with…Something that can add a little touch of summer to your life.” Given the freezing temperatures outside right now, I’m sure we can all use a ‘touch of summer’. Warm yourselves up, and check out the track now!

Kap Slap follows up “Rewind” with his take on Rozes’s “Burn Wild”, his first official remix ever. While the remix is reminiscent of Kap Slap’s original style, Kap has modernized his sound with vocal chops, glitches, and a futuristic vibe. This, combined with Rozes’s beautiful vocals creates a track that is perfect for laid back listening, but also has the fuel to set dance floors ablaze. All those in LA, be sure to check out Kap’s show at Avalon with Lash on 2/5, but for now, grab Kap Slap’s remix of “Burn Wild”.

Abstract Hip-Hop, Artists, Chill, Freestyle, Indie, Pop | Leah Haxhi Remedies the Weekday Blues with her New Single “Okay” prod. IAmRizwan
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 26, 2016
Leah Haxhi is a singer songwriter currently working on her upcoming album in NYC. She paired with Bangladeshi producer IAmRizwan to create this atmospheric track that makes us feel like everything will be “Okay”. She free-styled the song in one take and then added harmonies to build out the song and create the organic feeling of the single. Leah is working with various producers and labels such as Afrojack, Armada Music, and MixMash Deep. We last gave you a taste of her EDM style with Armada’s record “When We Were Young” by Jaylex ft. Leah Haxhi, but here she shows us once again that her style cannot be put into any box.
