Andy Mineo just dropped one of the most creative visuals I saw in 2016 so far. “Now I Know” is a 16-bit video, which brings me back to my childhood. This is off of his sophomore album Uncomfortable released at the end of last year, and instantly shot up the iTunes charts, debuting at #10 on the overall chart.

Leah Haxhi, NYC singer/songwriter, hits us with another Adele cover that rivals all the competition. Keeping it simple with just minimal piano and vocals, this live video gives you the feeling you are sitting right there in the studio with Leah. At first it seems as if she is keeping it very close to the original, but then the second chorus breaks off into a free-style bridge that adds a unique twist to the song. Live studio visuals by Marin Hamataj and Brenton Ruh also complement the relaxed feeling of the cover. We expect to see big things from Leah in the near future, as she is putting together a demo of original songs and also working on new tracks with various DJs and producers such as Afrojack, Shelco Garcia and Teenwolf, and some other hard-hitters in the EDM and pop world. Follow Leah for more music and updates coming soon.

Hardwell had quite the Miami Music Week this year. “Be prepared for the most epic music festival journey in U.S. history. Celebrating the mainstream and underground with a mind-blowing lineup.” These are the opening lines to the countdown video that Mysteryland USA released yesterday to get the world excited for what is about to go down on the same grounds that Woodstock occurred on almost 50 years ago. Last year, Mysteryland broke ground for the first United States and absolutely blew all expectiations out of the water. They plan on doing so again.

In addition to the countdown video, Mysteryland USA has announced the official set times for the Memorial Day festival that includes not only the music schedule but also the arts, culture, and food events that will occur in tandem with the music festival. On the last two nights of the festival, Mysteryland USA will be having a closing ceremony for each day to really abide by their mantra that “tomorrow is a mystery.” You can view the full schedule for Mysteryland USA 2015 here and still grab you tickets for those of you within the area (New Yorkers it is only an hour and a half for you).

Black Butter Records is home to many insanely talented artists like Gorgon City, Kidnap Kid, Rudimental, Clean Bandit, My Nu Leng, and many more. The UK imprint threw a party last month with MATTE, a creative production company, to get the festival season started off right, and I don’t know if it’s the black and white or the tribal-esque track to the video but its clear that these British music titans know how to throw a party. The lineup was overflowing with killer talent. From Kidnap Kid to Jessie Andrews to a special guest appearance by THE GASLIGHT KILLER, attendees were not shorted of high-caliber DJs and the recap video is just a testament to exactly that. Check it out and be sure to be on the look out for the next Black Butter Records party that pop-ups.
