Albums | FNT Premiere: Moveltraxx’s “Tecnica” & “Aquafina”
Posted by Nick on January 22, 2014
I want to introduce you all to Moveltraxx, a Paris-based label that is by no means afraid to push the envelope on music: to test and stimulate its audience with a variety of styles and genres. Today, FNT was lucky enough to get the chance to premiere two tracks from their upcoming compilation “DMP6” that showcases the talent of their international caliber artists.
The first record is Ezekiel’s “Tecnica,” an original trap track with a quasi-Latin spin on it, and the second is “Aquafina” by DJ Tim Dolla, which showcases a fresh, unique sound design that just makes you want to get up and move – if you’re looking for something to slap on your way home from work and/or school today, you’ve found your winners.
DMP6 drops on January 28, so be on the lookout for a download, or pre-order on Juno.

Jackson Breit leads off 2014 with a music video for “Two Timing,” the first single off of his upcoming album. The album is two parts, and will hopefully come out in the next month or so. We are expecting a few more releases before the project drops, and really big things for Jackson in 2014. As always, Jackson offers a free download below.
Hip-Hop, Rap | GoldLink – The Heart
Posted by admin on January 7, 2014
GoldLink is really pressing his luck with his most recent release entitled, “The Heart”. Anyone with a halfway decent taste in music knows that Kendrick Lamar absolutely annihilated this beat on his mixtape Overly Dedicated a few years back. That being said, GoldLink absolutely held his own, and spit some introspective bars that give us a much better idea of the street life and family struggles that he was going through.
Although “The Heart” will not be featured on GoldLink’s upcoming project The God Complex it will surely keep us on our knees begging for more. Enjoy.
Electronic, Exclusive, Featured | FNT Exclusive: Illenium – For Truth
Posted by Middy on January 7, 2014

We introduced you to Illenium through his huge melodic dubstep single “Drop Our Hearts” and now are proud to present the next single to come from his upcoming EP “Risen”, “For Truth”. Illenium totally switches his sound on “For Truth”, creating something similar to the glitchy, orchestral style found with Glitch Mob, but with his own unique touch and character. He does not want to get pigeonholed into one type of music or one genre and the EP exemplifies that ideal. “For Truth” is something you will be playing a lot as it balances aggressive electro with cinematic melodies into one glitchy, well crafted tune. Look for “Risen” dropping on January 14th and keep up to date with everything the Colorado producer is doing on his socials below.
Progressive House | Calvin Harris feat. Example – We’ll Be Coming Back (Lush & Simon Bootleg)

‘Tis the season for giving, so that means producers world around are giving away free remixes and originals as a sign of their appreciation of all of the support they have received over the year. Another artist to add a freebee to the bunch is Lush & Simon, who have had a breakout year, with their single “Adrenaline” on Revealed becoming one of the most played tracks in the later months of the year, and “City Of Lights“, quickly moving to join “Adrenaline” in that category. Calvin Harris tracks have seen their fair share of remixes, but none with the Lush & Simon brand of energetic progressive house that sets this one apart. Also check out the preview for their upcoming single “Drag Me To The Ground”, coming January 6th son Zouk Recordings.

Progressive House | Tiësto – Red Lights
Posted by Middy on December 18, 2013
We are seeing a trend here with dance music stars. Now that the biggest and most important music market in the world has bought in to dance music, DJs want a piece of the very lucrative pop pie. This is convenient because pop music is going in the dance direction, notably since the inroads made by Guetta with his tracks in the late 2000s, but it also requires DJs to meet the pop scene half way.
Hits like “Alive”, “Clarity” and “Get Lucky” didn’t sound engineered for radio, but ended up there anyway, but recently tracks like Afrojack’s “The Spark”, Armin van Buuren’s “This Is What It Feels Like”, Ferry Corsten’s “Many Ways” and now “Red Lights” all demonstrate the move to try and appeal to much wider audience. DJs no longer want to be the anonymous guy in the corner spinning tracks, they want to be brands, superstars and with commercial, crossover appeal coming easier every day, you can expect that to become more and more the norm.
The song is incredibly catchy and destined for radio; undoubtably its original purpose. It is the first of three singles from Tiësto’s upcoming album signed to Universal set for release next year. It will be his first album since “Kaleidoscope” back in 2010, so expect something very different. You can get a sneak peak at the process behind it including his producers Matt Nash & Dave Silcox in the studio, and how tracks were chosen on the fifth episode of In The Booth.
