Posted by VMan on January 28, 2024
Future house maestros Electric Polar Bears are kicking off 2024 with a series of singles that seamlessly combine innovation with the unwavering nature of their signature sound.
Staying true to their unique persona and branding, the Electric Polar Bears (who go by the names Zero and Snowball) have embraced a persona that combines the playful and quirky charm of polar bears with the high-energy world of electronic dance music. Known for their knack of curating a fun and whimsical atmosphere, the duo craft full sensory experiences where they combine 3000 LED heads, powerful confetti cannons, captivating lasers, frost machines, and an enchanting penguin parade—all set against the backdrop of their vibrant, lively house beats.
Their signature party-starting antics combined with their infectious sound and magnetic performance style have led to collaborations with notable artists such as Paris Hilton, Nitti Gritti, and TyDi; support from industry tastemakers like Afrojack, Alison Wonderland, Deorro, and Illenium; performances at renowned festivals, including Decadence Arizona, Water Castle Carnival, Global Dance Festival, Give Thanks, and Amsterdam Dance Event; and a showcase at Paris Hilton‘s Neon Wedding, cementing their status as a rising force in the music industry. The duo’s bi-weekly radio show, Igloo Radio, has also been syndicated to stations on five different continents, including Insomniac Radio.
2023 was huge for the polar bear-headed duo, a monumental year that saw them release their uplifting, retro-futurist Where We Started EP; reunite with pop culture icon Paris Hilton to remix her 2023 single, “Hot One“; and join forces with globally-certified, platinum-selling artist Deorro to release their energetic, big room house single “Front to Back.”
Now, fresh off the heels from their Decadence Arizona performance, Electric Polar Bears unveil their electrifying single “Fever” – a boundary-pushing track whose bouncy, vibrant presentation encourages listeners to release tension, lose themselves in the music, and let the rhythm take control. Expertly crafted via the duo’s finely tuned creative synergy – the song flexes a seamless concoction of Snowball’s keyboard skills and Zero’s rhythmic prowess – “Fever” sees Electric Polar Bears embark on a euphoric, infectious journey that’s sure set the dance music scene ablaze.
“Fever” kicks off with mesmerising arpeggiated chord progressions that hypnotically weave through the composition, accompanied by a vocal sample that chants “I got that fever.” Next, the track builds with anticipation before bursting into a cacophony of explosive rhythms and bass – a heart-thumping house beat that kicks off 2024 in style.
Aimed to propel listener’s into a world of dancefloor bliss, “Fever” acutely embodies the next chapter of Electric Polar Bear’s journey, a track destined to leave an indelible mark on listeners across the globe.
“We’re thrilled to unleash ‘Fever,’ our latest single that’s set to turn up the heat and melt the ice. It’s a track that fuses our love for frosty vibes with fiery rhythms, creating a dance anthem that’s both cool and hot at the same time!“ – Electric Polar Bears
Bass, Trap | Hudson Mohawke’s “Chimes” Gets Torn Apart by Alexander Lewis X Y2K

What a enormous remix, wow. Y2K and Alexander Lewis are quite the pair of producers to team up on a track, so when I saw they came together to put a booming flip on “Chimes” originally by HudMo my interest peaked. I was not disappointed and you won’t be either, turn up to this one above!

Win & Woo just remixed XYLØ’s “LA Love Song” and the result is summery perfection. While this is definitely something different from the rest of the duos work, the production quality remains top notch and the melody is still as catchy! Win & Woo use the original perfectly and make it, in their words, a “beautiful summertime turn up at the pool kinda song”. Check out the track now and be sure to grab your copy today!
Hip-Hop | West Coast rapper Larry June provides us with a wavy new track
Posted by dshaq on February 16, 2016
Larry June has been able to gain some good traction within the rapping community, as seen through his previous projects with noted producers like TM88 and Sledgren to name a few. It’s becoming more of when everybody will start listening rather than if people will. This time he joins up with Chicago based producer KiNG KiLo to create a very wavy but hard hitting track. Thinking music, smoking music, riding music; it fits all types of moods. Turn up the volume, especially for that base line, and enjoy.

Oh my, this lead synth is so satisfying. This producer goes by L D R U and it’s no wonder he works so closely with Future Classic and has a project with Yahtzel AKA Carmada. “Keeping Score” keeps the listener on their toes while adding bits of Future Bass and Tropical Vibes. Stream, turn up the volume, and jam out.

Dirty. Harry. A member of Canada’s rising supply of hip-hop entrepreneurs, Harm Franklin has raised the bar and delivers ‘The Condo.’ This one has been on repeat for the past week coming right in time to complement this 30+ degree weather (that’s 80F+ for my American friends). With a beat this heavy I’m confident you’ll agree that this one makes the cut for your summer jams playlist. Join me, turn up the knob, and have a taste of this one.
