Chill, Trap | Daughter – Still (Y//2//K Remix)
Posted by BP on September 17, 2013
Y//2//K has been killin’ it lately. Now he’s dropped a remix of “Still” by Daughter that is packed with emotion and calming beats. The subdued vocals work well with Y//2//K’s chill trap beats and an interesting medley of instruments and pitches. It’s extremely clean and really a pleasure for the ears. You can grab this one for free!
Chill, Trap | Gladys Knight – Grapevine (Mr. Carmack Remix)
Posted by J-Tiffy on September 16, 2013
Mr. Aaron Carmack seems like a cool dude. I’m a big fan of his music styles and of the way that he (like Deadmau5) has a Soundcloud profile dedicated exclusively to posting his unreleased tracks. On his profile you will find a whole collection of unreleased gems spanning many genres, many of them defying definition. A lot of his songs have trap influences and nuances; this track being one of them. He builds a great chill vibe around the old Gladys Knight original vocals. It’s a soothing tune all the way through, but when the keys come in around the 2 minute mark, you just can’t help but sink back into your chair and relax. He is giving this one away as a free download, so grab it and toss it into the running for songs that start your day or finish your night.
Chill, Trap | Gilbre Forte – Nolita (The Ninetys Edit)

Here’s a sweet free remix from The Ninetys for your weekend playlist! This remix of “Nolita” by Gilbre Forte is mesmerizing and expertly produced. The Ninetys just has a way with percussion that makes my ears very happy. This trap track is breathtaking and easy to get lost in. The Ninetys will be releasing an EP on October 7th and this song is proof that we should all be excited!
Trap | Chiefs ft. Chachi Kamikazi & Gracelands – The City

The newest original released by Chiefs called “The City” featuring Chachi Kamikazi & Gracelands is an interesting trap track. It starts out as more melodic style trap and becomes more aggressive towards the end with a rap section. It was an ear catching listen for sure. It’s a great song to chill and relax to. This creative track is also free to download!

Featured, Interviews | Alesia talks Bird Machine, Filet Mignon, & More!
Posted by VMan on September 10, 2013
The first day of EZoo, the FNT crew got a chance to link up with the French duo Alesia, also known as Nicolas and Lemuel, who just finished spinning their set at the OWSLA vs Boys Noize tent. This was a first for both to be spinning at a festival in the US, and New York out of all places. You might not be familiar yet with the name Alesia, but chances are you’ve heard their trap hit “Bird Machine,” which they co-produced with DJ Snake, either at a festival or on your television screen. The track is currently being used on a Target commercial! With how things are going, you’re going to be hearing a lot more from them in the future, so keep your ears out!
Check out the teaser video they released for their time at EZoo, look out for Alesia at Tomorrow World on the OWSLA stage, and read our interview after the jump!
Trap | Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, Tujamo – Boneless (NYMZ Remix)
Posted by Juicebox on September 7, 2013
Just as I was growing tired of the original (#1 on Beatport), this guy NYMZ puts it on another level. Despite being a fresh face as a solo project, I found out this kid is 1/2 of Milo & Otis (Killagraham & NYMZ). Expect big things…

Electro, Trap | Krewella – Live For The Night (Sean Kongery & Klavay Remix)
Posted by admin on September 5, 2013
Since it’s been a while since I’ve heard any attention-grabbing trap remixes, I figured Sean Kongery and Klavay’s would be a nice little re-introduction. The producer duo teamed up to tackle Krewella’s esteemed “Live For The Night”, a single off of their forthcoming album Get Wet. Sean and Klavay added some pretty massive drops jam packed with alien-sounding synths and chopped vocals.
The original is without a doubt difficult to remix because of it’s intricacy and distinct sound, however, the pair made it work and put a nice new spin on it.
Enjoy the free download and check out their SoundCloud for more tunes!
