Progressive House | ID – You Gotta Go

You Gotta Go

A trusted music buddy of mine sent me this record titled “You Gotta Go” today, and he told me it was the biggest track he’d heard all year, except that no one knows who’s actually behind it. Channeling Alanis Morissette’s 90’s hit “You Oughta Know” into a huge dark progressive/crossover house record, it’s clear that who ever is behind this song, has something huge coming. I personally can’t make it past the drop without having both hands in the air like I’m at raging at a festival, but I’m really not, I’m at my desk. The energy on this record is live, and I invite you all to check it out, and if you’re able to tell me who is behind this tune, do share!

The homie Glastrophobie put the word out yesterday on his Facebook page that if he hit 50 Likes on his status, he would release a new remix, which he did, so today he hit us up to premiere this awesome remix of Born Cages‘ “Rolling Down The Hill” and we happily obliged! The feels on this record are uplifting, and in my opinion the original record is a hit, in the sounds of Mumford & Sons with a touch of Queen, it straight bangs! Glastro does it again, adding his Midas touch to bring us all to church! This is a must listen!

Abstract Hip-Hop | Flying Lotus – Never Catch Me (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)

Woah. Not expecting that. It has been a minute since Kendrick has graced our ears with new music, and today’s release is something a little different. Having FlyLo on the production is something I find very fitting for the two, who both have unique sounds that clearly work pretty well together on this track. I believe there is a new album in the works and set to be coming out pretty soon. Look for that and more releases to come and enjoy the track below.

One of my favorite DJ/Producers of the moment Tom Bull hit us just a few days ago with a new mix of the hottest house, deep house, and bass records of today, and I couldn’t find a better time on this Sunday to feature this finely curated set, because the sounds will take you to church! Keep your ears out for his collaboration with Rich Pinder for their track “Watch Out”! This is a must listen and a must download!

Chill, Electronic | Obeson – Control Me (Feat. Sakima)

Obeson has put out a new original track for our ears yesterday called “Control Me” with vocals from the talented Sakima. This track is ambient and smooth. It’s one of those tunes that can really carry your mind away. The progression of this track is unique and the sax that pops up towards the middle of the song is a nice surprise as well. You can grab it for free on Facebook if it’s your style!

Chill, Trap | Wizard – In The Fire

Posted by on July 30, 2014

Wizard dropped a new chill track for us today called “In The Fire”. The familiar sample is warped and complimented by low, speaker busting bass. The bass-line is what makes this track particularly note-able. Sweeping arpeggiators and hard hitting bass tones bang along side trap beats and quiet vocals throughout each bridge and drop. This track is downright sexy, and I don’t say that often. Grab it for free!
