After releasing their EP “The Reach”, the duo from Mass is back with a new single featuring June. With their blend of reggae on The Reach, Aer struck the Sublime fan in us, but with “Slow Down” they have been able to strike another pleasurable nerve. “Slow Down” has a trip-hop flavor and laid back feeling that is perfect for kicking back and relaxing on these summer nights. The chorus on this track melts into the beat leaving you calm, cool and collected. Hat tip to Alexis.

Sometimes when you’re a blogstar, you’re usually caught up posting what’s been sent to you. You’re piled high and deep with so many e-mails it makes it virtually impossible to have the time to actually seek out new music. However, when I was browsing facebook “deleting and un-tagging” all these wanna-be rappers who usually post their videos on my wall, I came across a video in my mini-feed that blew me away.
Sebastian “De-Lor” Michael is a an up and coming singer/songwriter/producer from Boston who’s influenced by the sounds of R&B, pop, and electro. Although his Facebook and Twitter leave many questions about his story unanswered, De-Lor is an artist that you should keep your eye on. Leave it to FreshNewTracks to find the undiscovered talent. As one of the rising stars in the DJ world, and arguably the face man for Big Room House, Avicii always seems to be on the tip of everyones tongue around here. I could definitely listen to this guy for daysss. To that end, Dromatic has provided us with a really dope, hour long, DJ mix of some Avicii’s classics. Hit the jump for the full set list.

Divine Rhyme seems eerily similar to a gnarly artist I can’t put my finger on, can any of you FNTers out there throw me a bone with this one? If you missed this duo the first three times around the site, don’t slip up again (and yes I’ve thrown some previously posted tracks for those of you that fall under this category). I’m always taken away by these guys crisp production of chill beats backed up with strong lyrical skills. Rather than continuously pumping out tracks to stay in the limelight, Divine Rhyme meticulously refines their tracks until they’re satisfied with the end result. Illiphant and Scribe The Verbalist fall under a similar sound as Divine Rhyme so it only seemed fitting to throw them into this post. Sometimes it takes a flawlessly produced mashup to remind you what a quality track is supposed to sound like. Perfect levels, check. Perfect bpm match, check. Perfect song choice, check… This list goes on. I’ve included one of Pixel’s remixes to illustrate this Polish producers diversity. And in case that wasn’t enough to make up for my lack of posting in the recent days, I’ve tossed in a couple other remixes done by Pixel’s group, “Rollin Stars” – check out the Lights track, FILTHY. This bonus track off Tiesto’s Vegas Club Life (fittingly sponsored by Heineken) dropped about a week ago but somehow it managed to slip by us. Perhaps that’s because I was too busy attending his filthy shows. If you have an opportunity to see Tiesto live, do it. The six figure light show will blow your mind (Canada stand up – he’s touring in a neighborhood near you now). Shouts to 10Breeze for the tip. Like Avicii’s Amplitude track, this heater is begging for some vocals, mashup anyone?
