As someone who has been listening to Timeflies since their first ever Tuseday(represent), I couldn’t be more inspired and awed by what they have done. Hailing from Astoria, Queens, Mandy Lee has been making waves as of late, as their new single ‘Vegabond” was hand-picked by Levi Maestro fro his “Maestro Knows America Campaign” with Scion. Rumored to be as good live as they are in recordings, this indie band is obe you should keep an eye on as they continue to progress. Hat tip to my blogstar brother, Sean Bannon, for sharing this.

Sweet baby Jesus. Somebody call Jimmy Iovine and get this young man a deal. Finding talent in your own backyard. I love it. Hailing from Denton, Texas, Joseph SoMo has steadily been dropping cover videos as of late as he continues to create a respectable buzz for himself. T.I. continues jumping on any hit record over the last few months by spitting some bars over Lil Wayne and Drake’s smash radio hit, She Will off Lil Wayne’s The Carter IV. Hopefully T.I. will continue to release these freestyles over the next couple months.

This song is phenomenal – perfect for the avid FNT listener whose looking to balance out his or her bass-heavy iTunes library (yes I’m aware we’ve been hitting you with a lot of dubstep and hard electro as of late). The aptly titled song features various bits and pieces from some of your favorite tracks including Daft Punk’s “One More Time”, Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” remix, and Adrian Lux’s “Teenage Crime”. Incredibly, the duo seamlessly blends the tracks under a perfect balance between the beat and vocals.Don’t pass this one up and keep an eye on these two, they’ll be climbing the ranks in no time.
