Electro, Progressive House, Videos | Adele – Someone Like You (Thomas Gold & Mark Mendes Bootleg), Digitalism
Posted by Middy on November 3, 2011
Everything about this video is perfect, from the grandma to the dog to the dance to the background and the music, just everything. Somebody get these guys a gig in Ibiza or Vegas.
Thomas Gold & Mark Mendes gave out this bootleg of Adele’s “Something Like You” for free and it is great. It may not be as good as Thomas Gold’s massive remix of “Set Fire to Rain” but it is close. It keeps a lot of Adele’s magical vocals with a smooth piano lead into a synth and bass drop.

Here is the Digitalism remix of “Syndicate” the video game theme that Skrillex took on a few months back. Digitalism gives us a heavy electro interpretation of the song with a varying keyboard melody.

Electro | WhiteNoise – Thunderball

You may be wondering why James Bond (Sean Connery specifically, best bond in my opinion) is in this post. Well for starters this has to be the coolest track with James Bond samples. Not only is it cool with these samples, but WhiteNoise has created one sick electro track. If MGM can stop being broke they need this as the next theme for a movie. Happy Friday everyone.

I want this game, and not just because Skrillex made a badass theme song for it. The game Syndicate is set in the year 2069, you basically just kill your way through levels…awesome. The game is set to release February 21, 2012, the theme song however was released today and you dont have to pay $60 for it.

Hip-Hop | The Dean’s List – Burn It All (Video)

It took a while, but The Dean’s List just released a video for Burn It All which was one of their deeper songs off their successful mixtape, The Drive In. The video itself is a tribute’s to being young, a theme that seems to reoccur through many of the group’s songs. Show the boys some love on facebook.

Hip-Hop | The Game, Drake, Lil Wayne, & Tyler The Creator

Alright first things first, sorry for my lack of posting lately, no Gmoney didn’t fire me, I’ve been interning so I have next to no time to do anything (Tip: Never get a job). Secondly, what is with The Game jacking everyone’s flow? It was cool the first few times but now its getting weird. Nonetheless check these two tracks which are off The Game’s upcoming R.E.D. Album, the first has a pretty eerie gothic theme to it, and the second is a track featuring Drizzy which both artists absolutely kill. Both of these, in my opinion, are MUST DOWNLOADS

Hip-Hop | Mac Miller – The Miller Family Reunion

In celebration for getting 700,000 followers on Twitter, the homie Mac Miller dropped this DOPE track produced by Big Jerm with a sweet summer theme to it. I’m loving the Arnold Palmer reference in that first verse.

Of course Soundcloud didn’t want to cooperate with me today, so the player below is short a few massive songs and by a few I mean all of my favorites (roughly 10). As such, you should probably just download the entire zip file and give it the once over. This doesn’t exactly have a theme, it just includes a few of my favorite tracks right now. I threw it on deck during our photo shoot for the new pinnies (pictured above, on sale soon) and it worked like a charm, I mean look at how the pics turned out. Enjoy… If you want to see more pics hit up our Facebook page – HERE
DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE MIXTAPE – HERE (Note: if you didn’t read the blurb, this has about 10 more songs)
