Videos | Mac Miller – Best Day Ever [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Posted by on July 22, 2011

This is my favorite Mac Miller video yet and considering his series of Rex Arrow films in part fueled his rise to fame, that’s saying a lot. In true Mac Miller fashion, this laid back tune get the unique film concept treatment that his visuals are notorious for. Here’s what Mac had to say about this drop “Enjoy… thank you for all the support in the preparation and dropping of Best Day Ever. Yall are the shit and have made this last year of my life incredible. hope u enjoy. thumbs up.” Man this kid does it right – he’s putting his competitors to shame…

Well folks the wait is finally over – below are a few of my favorite cuts. I’ll let 5 & A Dime team take it from here

“It’s been almost a year since 5 & A Dime’s debut album “The Other White Meat” was released last April. He has since put out over 11 singles and now after some serious growth and maturation within the mash-up game as well as two semesters of some ridiculous live performances around the country, the much anticipated sophomore album from 5 & A Dime is here! “Ear Candy” which is a 30 minute long continuous album consisting of 104 distinct classics and bangers will for sure please, if not feed the listening ears of 5 & A Dime fans and the mash-up listening community. We appreciate all the support over the past year with 5 & A Dime music and believe that this year will bring forth even more growth, raising the bar for mash-up music and hitting even more colleges and venues around the country! Artists | Collin Mcloughlin

Posted by on March 18, 2011

Collin McLoughlin’s energy and passion for writing and performing great music, continuously fueled by his strong talent and the support of his ever-growing fanbase both inside and outside of the music industry has brought an exciting new voice to today’s pop/electro scene.

Collin began his career as an acoustic artist, writing and recording original material in his early teens. Following a successful tour to support this guitar-based music, he was recruited by three fellow students at Colgate University to create the hip-hop/R&B group, Nautical Young. Collin began by writing and singing hooks and quickly began to co-produce songs and manage the group.

Nautical Young’s debut album, ‘Just in Time’ was released in April, 2010, sponsored by DJ Benzi. The mixtape was met with rave reviews by fans and critics alike, leading to a college tour across the East Coast.

With the group members heading to different coasts upon graduation, Collin focused his efforts on his solo career and began recording a debut solo project in May, 2010. Combining his recent involvement in hip hop and R&B, with his passion for electronica, and his acoustic roots, Collin’s solo project serves as a refreshing blend of electronic, soul and pop rhythms. He has performed with Wale, Fabolous, K’naan, Sam Adams, and Lupe Fiasco.
