Electronic, Trap | Banks – Drowning (The Ninetys Remix)
Posted by BP on May 23, 2014
Here is a new track from one of my favorites, The Ninetys, out on Trapdoor Records this time. The Ninetys remix of “Drowning” by Banks is a part of Trapdoor’s “3am Series” which releases “a track every Thursday to hypnotize & entrance for that late night zone out”. This track falls nicely into that description. The percussion is spot on, as usual with The Ninetys, and the trap vibe keeps it fun and exciting to listen to. According to Trapdoor, The Ninetys has a pile of music that is going to be released soon and I am beyond excited. As soon as the download for this track is released I will update this post, but for now you can stream the goodness below!
Electro, Mainstream Remix | Coldplay – Midnight (Kygo Remix)
Posted by dshaq on May 9, 2014
Premiering on BBC radio 1 today, Kygo dropped off his latest offering in the form of a brand new remix to Coldplay’s Midnight. A huge thank you is due to Kygo for the steady stream of music he has been putting out, as well as the quality of the music that he has been producing. Another Kygo track with great vibes, phenomenal melodies, and overall just flat out beautiful. He just hit 200,000 likes on Facebook and is becoming one of the hottest new producers out right now, so everyone should definitely start paying attention if you haven’t already. Give him some love on his facebook page, which you will want to like to get the download links, below and be on the lookout for a lot more Kygo to come.
Alternative, Drum & Bass, Electronic | Max Frost – White Lies (Tune In Crew Remix) // Tune In Crew – Still Waters
Posted by Spice on April 21, 2014
Two big new tracks from one of our favorite duos out of France, the Tune In Crew. The first is a high energy, drum n’ bass-infused remix of Max Frost’s “White Lies,” which switches up the vocal blend of the original while weaving in a rich combination of live instruments (is that a maracas?). An unexpected but wonderfully seamless trap break mellows out the vibe midway through before the track hurtles back into a spray of fast-paced kicks. The second track switches gears considerably; drawing inspiration from epic movie soundtracks, the twangy, instrumental “Still Waters” is yearning and bluesy and would no doubt be right at home in a Tarantino montage. Stream both below.
Alternative, Ambient, Chill | Prelow – Simple Song

A month or so ago, we premiered to you a soft-spoken indie group by the name of Prelow. The NYC-bred duo is back with their newest release entitled, “Simple Song”. Staying true to its name, “Simple Song” doesn’t employ dozens of layers of instruments or vocals, but rather strips it down the excess and provides a song beautiful for everything that it’s not.
Prelow is a promising new name in indie music not only for their vocal prowess, but the self-production that has captivated over 15,000 listeners over the past five days. Enjoy a free download and stream below.
Indie, Progressive House | Chromeo – Jealous (I Ain’t With It) (The Chainsmokers Remix) [Preview]
Posted by Mel on March 11, 2014
The Chainsmokers keep their stream of official remixes coming with their own take on Chromeo’s “Jealous”. They ease into it in this one with first two sevenths of the song being carried by piano before letting the energy flow for the rest of the track. This is already the duo’s seventh release of the year and they just keep on impressing. The song will be available April 4th on iTunes.

If you’re not paying attention to Erik Hassle, now would be a good time, I’ll admit I just discovered him a few minutes ago, and this guy is amazing. With “Pathetic” off his 6 track EP “Somebody’s Party,” I don’t invite you guys to just play this record, but to actually stream the whole project on his SoundCloud, it’s that good. A mix between Prince, and Robin Thicke, with the vocals, over new age Electo-R&B productions, this project is straight perfection. Give it some time before the US picks up on Erik, but it’ll happen, bigger than Disclosure in my opinion. This is a must listen and a must download!
