The good man Tim Gunter has always intrigued me with his ability to create some artfully crafted and catchy beats, and with his new direction towards the electro game, I see a bright future for the boy. This time taking Ca$h Out’s banger, Ca$hin’ Out, Timmy throws his unique touch on it and one hell of a synth. Good things are in store for Mr. Gunter if he keeps killing tracks like this. Now I’ve known Kembe has had some serious talent ever since hearing his Self Rule mixtape, but after his Soul Fever release and now this I am completely sold on this kid. His flow is so effortless and smooth that it keeps you coming back for more, even on such a simple beat like this one. I’m real excited to see what he has in store for the future because it looks real promising.

A little late but I wont worry about it if you don’t, aka as long as you are feeling this tune like I am. Hodgy Beats hinted on twitter that he had something in store for the ladies. Didn’t think it would have been so soon fordab*tches to recognize. Hodgy goes hard on a lot of his work, but he can definitely control his verses to which ever style he’s feeling in the moment. Smooth and saucy, this porn funkadelic vibed track is a tasty treat. Whether your just another dude looking for a fun night or one of those ladies this track was meant for, it is worth the listen either way.

Swedish House Mafia took over Pete Tong’s legendary Essential Selection show for the second time last night, revealing some information about upcoming songs and played tracks from a whole variety of genres from progressive to tech to electro to indie. They talk a fair amount about Los Angeles, where Steve Angello has been living and working for the past 4 years and what makes it so special. Deadmau5 came on the show to do a guest mix, talk about what is in store for 2012. They played a fair amount of unreleased tracks, including Alesso’s new single “Years” (above), Nari & Milani’s “Atom”, the vocal version of Alesso & Sebastian Ingrosso’s anthemic track “Calling” now called “Losing My Mind” (below) and Steve Angello’s finished copy of his signature track “Yeah“, which is quite different from what he has been playing out for the better part of a year. They also revealed the name of the new Swedish House Mafia single premiered at Madison Square Garden, “Greyhound“, which is slightly different from the version played there, but it is still an amazing song. So its no secret that FNT’s resident DJ, JurisDoc, has been slacking off lately. Using our typical FNT HR hiring and firing practices, we told him he had one chance to convince us he was worthy of keeping around… the mix-off of all mix-off’s, if you will. Well I will be the first guy to admit that JurisDoc came through in the clutch and delivered a face-melting electro mix that will keep you grinding through the thick and the thin of whatever this weekend has in store.
