Progressive House | FNT Premiere: GloVibes & Luciana ‘One By One’ (Tailor Trip & Slex Remix)

Posted by on March 16, 2015

GloVibes_Luciana_One By One_Cover (1)We are happy to premiere a little Monday morning pick-me-up from Tailor Trip & Slex as they remix the brand new “One By One” from Italian producer, DJ GloVibes and noted singer in the dance space, Luciana. Though this collaboration may not have the same star power as some of the other tracks Luciana has worked on with the likes of Tiësto, Hardwell or KSMHR, it packs a similiar punch with the new remix that adds an anthemic touch to the single. This tune is pure artwork. It combines elements of film score and futuristic glitches – it has no set tempo. The fellas over at PINEO & LOEB have flipped a delicious cover of the original ‘Y.O.L.O.’ by the Strokes and this is addictive. Plug in some headphones for this one-way ticket into space and strap on a seatbelt, because some turns are just unpredictable.

When Jack Gallagher sends you new music, you know it’s going to be something serious. Following up on the success of their “No Flex Zone” remix that was played by just about everyone in the dance space, Styles&Complete bring us an all new remix in the form of O.T. Genesis’s “CoCo” that’s become a meme (pronounced maymay if you’re a redditor) of sorts across the interwebs. I got bacon soda I got bacon soda, but I digress. Turn up and catch Styles&Complete at the Arygle in Hollywood tonight.

Premiered by Pete Tong, Dante Klein’s “Etersuppe” translated literally as “pea soup” is set to release on Spinnin’ Deep in just a matter of a few days. It’s been teased by just about every important tastemaker in the deep house space, and deservedly so. “Etersuppe” is a departure from the future house sounds we’ve heard of late, combining laid back synths and subtle sounds that makes this original work a pleasure to listen to. Pick up Dante Klein’s “Etersuppe” on December 15th via Spinnin’ Deep.

It’s so hard to make a festival friendly banger without losing credibility. The line between cliche and timeless is extremely thin. (How Galantis does this is beyond me, but I digress.) Somehow, A-Trak has found a way to balance the two, creating “Push” featuring Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow fame. The result is truly unforgettable, as “Push” has the potential to break through not only in a dance space full of predictable anthems, but also on American radio as well. A-Trak. Andrew Wyatt. Fire flames.

Tube and Berger’s “Set If Off” is an essential tune. Premiered on BBC Radio 1, Kryder’s future house remix (that so happens to be featured on Oliver Heldens new “Heldeep Radio Vol. 22“) is exceptional. If I were a DJ (I’m not) I would put this in my set immediately. It’s that good. Hats off to Kryder. He has a special remix on his hands. No release date just yet. Stay tuned to this space for more.

House | Chocolate Puma Ft Kris Kiss – Step Back (Low Steppa Remix)

When I saw this new offering from Low Steppa was being released on Island Dance, I didn’t want to give it a fair shot. Island Dance? There’s something strange about a major label getting involved in the dance space. It feels incredibly inauthentic but you can’t blame the dying major label machine for playing catch up. I’ll give them a break since they’re across the pond. Regardless, Low Steppa is a serious talent and I’d be remiss not to feature it. Be sure to pick it up on Beatport below. Serious tune.
