Blink 182. What can you say that hasn’t already been said. A legendary pop-punk band that every angry teenager in middle school listened to. After the success of his second EP ‘Annie’ earlier on in 2016, Australian producer Failr is back with a brand new sample-driven track called ‘Animal’, which features the gorgeous voice of Sydney singer AVIVA. The two are a match from heaven, as Failr’s wonderful beats and complimented perfectly by AVIVA’s soulful vocals. “Working on this track was like opening Pandora’s box as it led to another 4 tracks all coming together in the space of 2 weeks,” Failr said, “In a lot of ways the track is essentially what I would have made from day one, had I had the production ability, musical knowledge and the ability to create Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time vocal chops.” The combination of cut-up guitar samples, summer vibes and thumping kicks makes “Animal” a must listen, so check it out now!
Electronic | You Have To Hear Cabu’s “Stay Lost” Remix
Posted by BIGLIFE on April 19, 2016
There’s so much nonsense out there in the blog space now. Terrible tunes being re-posted by bloggers and curators who manage the artists. Blogs gaming the Hype machine system. Paying for re-posts. It’s a dirty game. One of the last bastions of credibility on the internet is popular Youtube channel Selected, who shared this excellent tune via their Soundcloud account this afternoon, which I recommend you follow, but I digress.
Sydney based producer Michael Salisbury, also known as Cabu, dropped an incredibly infectious “Stay Lost” remix originally performed by Joe Hertz featuring Amber-Simone. The remix is currently topping the Hypem charts, and rightly so. You can’t help but turn this tune up and sway in your seat at work while you count the hours. Let this brilliant remix take you to another level.
Coming soon via Juicebox Recordings.
Show it some love on Hypem too.

Pop | Duke Dumont Transports Us To 80’s Pop Greatness In “Ocean Drive”
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 2, 2015
There are artists and songs in that have the power to transcend the dance space and set their own trends. Blase Boys Club’s Duke Dumont is one of those artists. He doesn’t post meme content. He doesn’t drop a weekly podcast. He doesn’t drop a new track every month. His releases are few and far between, which signals a higher level of care and quality to the music. Case and point: Duke’s new 80’s pop inspired “Ocean Drive” single off his forthcoming “Blase Boys Club Pt. 1” EP. When the entire dance space is zigging, Duke is zagging, which is why we love him. We expect this tune to be a massive one.
