Albums | Australian Talent 44 Ardent Releases “intothedeep”
Posted by VMan on July 7, 2022
Rising Australian producer has a new EP on the way this August, and to help hold us over until that drops he has released the title track to the forthcoming project via this vibey new track “intothedeep”. If you’re a fan of unique sound design that is house infused (think Four Tet or Tourist), I am very confident you will enjoy the tune above. Check it out now!
“intothedeep is probably my favourite song on the whole record. I was a bit self-indulgent with the synths and the sound design on this one and didn’t hold back! The song sort of sucks you right in with a wall of sound as soon as the drum fill hits and then it spits you back out for a little bit before a totally different wall of sound at the one-minute mark. I’ve mentioned previously that the EP is loosely themed around climate change. I suppose this is the “ocean” song. I can imagine it being played with a powerful stormy ocean in the background.” –44 Ardent
Chill | A&G Return With Chill Cover of Drake’s “Too Good”
Posted by VMan on November 15, 2016
I remember A&G back in the day, this duo slayed it with their catchy powerful house remixes that still give me nostalgia chills to this day. I was curious about what happened to them, they sort off fell off the map, but now are back – so what happened in-between?
Sadly one of the brothers received the news that cancer was found, so a more than expected break was taken as they figured out what they both should do next.
The battle is still on, but dance music is more important to these two, A&G have dropped their first release since then, a remix of Drake”s “Too Good” a chill remix that fits with the times and is definitely fire.

The Geek x Vrv are back with the official music video for the name single off of their Origami EP, and we can’t stop watching it. The four-minute video is a stop-action type of film that follows a girl through a variety of different daily tasks that all of some sort of interesting twist to it. It’s the perfect counterpart to the track, which is a fusion of dance and breakbeat that perfectly shows off The Geek x Vrv’s signature style of production.

Chill, Exclusive, House | FNT Premiere: Oh Honey – Be Okay (Matt DiMona Remix)
Posted by Mel on August 11, 2014
Oh Honey’s “Be Okay” was a big success, garnering well over a million plays on Youtube and 750k plays on Soundcloud. Matt DiMona has also had success recently, with his last two tracks combining for over 400k plays. His remix of Nikyee Heaton’s “Bad Intentions” was fantastic and is what really put him on the map. He has put his own spin of, as he calls it, feel good house on the original and it turned it great. Perfect for pool parties, as people always say, or even for watching people walk by your house, if you’re into that sort of thing. While you wait for the EP containing this remix to be released tomorrow, you can enjoy the stream exclusively below.
Electronic | Hermitude – Ukiyo
Posted by mimada on April 17, 2014
The legendary Australian electronic-meets-hip-hop duo Hermitude dropped this brand new track titled “Ukiyo” yesterday in anticipation of their upcoming next album release. It’s honestly just a really nice, different, refreshing sort of sound, the kind that you want to hear all day long because it keeps your blood pumping and your spirits high. I’m getting excited just thinking about an entire album featuring this sort of style. While you might recognize these guys from that infamous Flume remix, which I have to admit is in fact one of my favorite tracks of all time, do take the time to check these guys out as artists, it’ll be worth your time.

Chill, Electronic | Of Monsters and Men – Dirty Paws (Royal Refix)
Posted by BP on January 28, 2014
I came across this track sort of by accident, but it caught my attention enough to make me stop and say “wow, this is really beautiful.” Royal’s refix of Of Monsters and Men’s song “Dirty Paws” is beyond gorgeous. Royal said that making this refix made him “feel some type of way” and I think it’ll get you feeling that same type of way too. It’s mellow and melancholy, and very pleasing to the ears. This track is free to download!
