Based out of Germany, Luca Schreiner is repping for the Germans on the indie-house front, delivering an official cover of Everything But The Girl’s “Missing,” with vocals from Kimberly Anne, whom graced Sam Feldt’s radio hit “Show Me Love.” Truth be told, Luca is a name I’ve been paying attention to since his remix for OMI, “These Are The Days,” released officially on OMI’s album. Press play on the video above, and watch a love story between two Belgian shepherds  develop. This one’s an absolute must listen, and must watch!

EDX has been on a tear this year. He started 2015 off strong with “Remember House,” his most groove-driven to date, and continued to showcase his matured sound with outputs like “Want You,” before kicking off the summer with one of the biggest remixes of the year, his “Indian Summer” remix of Sam Feldt’s track, “Show Me Love.” In the midst of all that, EDX wasn’t back home in Switzerland, or kicking back on the beach in Los Angeles, rather the house luminary has been embroiled in two massive world tours – first, his “Progression of Sound” world tour, then his “Want You” tour, and now, he’s on his “Belong” tour. With just two months of the year left, EDX is bringing back “Want You” with an added twist, as he’s teamed up with BB Diamond to turn “Want You” into “Want You (Then I Found You)” – a soulful vocal rendition of the track. Stream it above or on Spotify, and check out EDX’s upcoming tour dates after the jump. “Want You (Then I Found You)” will be released on Friday, October 30th.

It’s impossible to truly capture how impressive EDX’s career has been. Few artists in any genre have been able to stay relevant through so many dramatic changes like the Italian-born producer has been able to, which is an ode to his hard work and tireless effort. While last year was an evolutionary year for the Swiss beatmaster, this year has been one of EDX’s best. Releases like his “Indian Summer” remix of “Show Me Love” and his “Miami Sunset” remix of Spada’s “Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)” were both chart-dominating releases, topping the Hype Machine and Beatport charts, on their way to over 30 million plays together. Now, EDX is closing out his year strong with his newest original, “Belong,” a masterful blend of deep and progressive, that marks his return to Spinnin’ Deep.

Most artists prefer to spend a solid portion of the year in the studio, working on an EP or an album, and spending the rest of the year touring, but EDX seems to have found a way to marry the two successfully, allowing him to tour while still putting out stunning releases. He’s currently in the midst of his massive “Want You” tour, but he’s delivered a Beatport chart-topping remix of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love,” and now, he’s unveiled his “Miami Sunset” remix of Spada’s “Catchfire.” The remix is a two-faced monster – EDX keeps the summery vibes of Spada’s original untouched, but gives the track a deep groove, turning it into a dance floor heater. The remix is due out on July 6th via EGO.

Earlier this year, EDX premiered his “Indian Summer” remix of Sam Feldt’s modern day, tropical re-imagination of Robin S’s 80s classic, “Show Me Love.” Now that Memorial Day is in the rearview mirror and summer is nearly upon us, the Swiss house maestro has released his remix of “Show Me Love,” a surefire summer staple. On this remix, the veteran producer keeps the sun-soaked vibes of Feldt’s re-imagination and infuses the track with a groovy house backbone, making it perfect for a late night at the club or a hot day by the pool. Stream EDX’s “Indian Summer” remix of “Show Me Love” above, and snag your own copy on Beatport via Spinnin’ Deep.

Electric Bodega this week has collaborated with 2DopeBoyz.com for a campaign titled “Thank You 2DopeBoyz”, an ode of appreciation for all that 2DBZ has done for the music culture as a whole, in terms of breaking new artists. To do so, EB will be releasing a remix a day, and today they bring us a trap remix of Troy Ave and Tony Yayo’ “Show Me Love” off Troy’s album “New York City:  The Album.” If you’ve been keeping up with hip-hop, Troy had one of the most critically acclaimed albums last year, and is the talk of a lot of hip-hop heads, so listen!

Progressive House | Passenger – Let Her Go (Filtercrush Remix)

Passenger - Let Her Go (Filtercrush Remix)
Filtercrush, having had their edit of “Show Me Love” picked up by Tiësto and played out live, look to capitalize on that momentum with another strong remix of Passenger’s “Let Her Go”. Surprisingly, Passenger are a band that do not get many remixes, even though they seem very malleable for a dance music makeover. NYC duo, Filtercrush add their own spin on the track with a big, emotive melody and punchy drums, making it perfect for their live sets.
