Chill | The White Panda Delivers Chill Rework of JAHKOY’s Single “California Heaven”
Posted by VMan on November 8, 2016
Everybody loves the story of an underdog. While The White Panda are by no means small in size, the masked duo have faced a handful of setbacks over the past year due to copyright issues with their awesome mashups. With that said, they seem to be making a comeback now with a fresh pair of remixes. A couple weeks ago, they dropped an official remix for Timeflies and have now shared their official remix for JAHKOY’s latest single, “California Heaven” featuring Schoolboy Q. The summery rework incorporates a friendly chord progression, smooth vocals and cinematic strings to add a unique touch to the song. In short, it’s fire. Stay tuned for more from The White Panda and be sure to catch them live at one of their wild shows. Tour dates can be found here!

Chill, Electronic | Schoolboy Q – Studio (PromNite Edition)
Posted by mimada on May 14, 2014
“Studio” was hands down my favorite track off Oxymoron, but then again I’m a real sucker for those R&B//rap ballads. I’m also a sucker for just about anything mystery producer PromNite puts out. But hear me out on this remix here – PromNite keeps the deep, smokey vibes first brought to us by Schoolboy and BJ The Chicago Kid and mixes it up with some electronic beats, drums, and a touch of piano to make an even more sultry track that you won’t be able to wait to get down to. Dope.

Hip-Hop, Mashups, Trap | The Hood Internet – Higher Greens (Schoolboy Q x Just Blaze & Baauer)
Posted by Grubeats on April 6, 2014
I get it, a lot of people hate mashups. They’re effortless tracks made by elementary “DJ’s”. Sure, some are garbage, but for me, when I hear a mashup that works, I can’t get enough of it. It could be the simplest combination, but sometimes the “art” of mashup’s are all about finding the right fit. The Hood Internet continually impresses with their work and their newest masterpiece, “Higher Greens” is the perfect fusion of rap and trap. So, if you’re a mashup hater, feel free to keep hating, but this track KNOCKS.

So, it’s Saturday night the day after your inevitable Valentine’s Day let-down. You lie in bed thinking to yourself “why do I suck at this whole romance thing?” When in actuality, the real schmucks are those who buy in to the V-Day celebrations and end up spending ridiculous amounts of money on flowers and chocolate.
I encourage all of you to toss on this “Anti-Valentine’s Everything” mix, brought to you by We Like Peach Rings and just vibe out for the night, knowing in your heart you are the true winner of this weekend.
Hip-Hop, RnB | Tinashe – 2 On feat. Schoolboy Q
Posted by mimada on January 14, 2014
Alright, this might seem a little out of no where considering my traditional taste but I’ve been on a very serious R&B kick lately and I’m not afraid to show it. Rising starlet Tinashe broke up my Ciara-Cassie-Aaliyah rotation after dropping the audio of her latest single, “2 On,” featuring beats provided by DJ Mustard and guest rhymes by Schoolboy Q. Her voice is soft and seductive, leaving you wanting more even after multiple plays. Keep an eye out for when the track becomes available for purchase in the near future, and potentially an album in the works as well.
