Salt Ashes hits again with “Raided,” a stellar dance record, or what she likes to call dark disco, from Brighton, UK, and I’m sold, from the quality of the production, to the seductive lyrics. This track is a modern club-friendly composition, but beware, this one isn’t for the light hearted. If you’re in the mood for dark disco, turn up the sound.

Bass lovers, Ravi B. has something for ya’ll, remixing the likes of Salt Ashes‘ “Somebody,” layering heavy moombahton sounds on Salt’s chilling vocals, which would make Dillon Francis proud if he heard it. The drop is one to get you going bonkers. DJs if you’re reading this, you’re going to want to include this in your festival sets. Last week I featured Satin Jackets’ latest remix of Salt Ashes’ “Somebody,” a nu-disco rendition of the synth-pop record, well this week having that tune on repeat on my SoundCloud, I couldn’t help but love the Cruelty remix of “Somebody” as well, which adds a funky touch to the original. I know I’m a month late with this one, but this track is by far underrated, and with the current exposure “Somebody” is getting, there’s no doubt this record deserves a revisit and a feature! This is a must listen and a must download!

Last year I fell on Satin Jackets, 2 producers from Germany who decided to link up and make fresh nu-disco house records for the good of humanity, with their record ” You Make Me Feel Good” and today out of the blue with a premiere on The Vibe Guide, they decided to release their ultra-chill “Summer is coming” remix of up and coming UK star Salt Ashes.
