Electro, Hip-Hop | ELECTRO-HOP | 90’s Finest

The 90’s Finest music-making formula is simple, yet addictive: take big electro heaters, add some fast paced party-rap and sprinkle it with a bit of autotune for good measure. After listening to this second round tracks, I am both hooked, and intrigued to see what else these boys up in Canada can come up with. For more 90’s Finest check out their facebook page here

Hip-Hop, RnB | 1st Round Records: G-Curtis

First Round’s newest prodigy seems to be taking an eerily similar path as their original poster boy Sam Adams. Exactly one year after Bostons Boy tore up the USC PHI PSI 500, G Curtis stepped up to the plate to knock it out of the ballpark yet again. Having been through this game once before, FreshNewTracks is expecting big things from 1st round with G. Below is Sammy’s latest collaboration with Curtis (note: you can only listen to the song, please purchase it from iTunes HERE). Also be on the lookout for a G Curtis remix of Driving Me Crazy.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Kanye West ft. Pusha T- Runaway

This is straight from MTV’s live blog after Kanye’s performance.
Kanye just got back downstairs, absolutely ecstatic, hugging everyone on the way to his dressing room, where his entourage has piled in. One of the members of Kanye’s (enormous) posse yelled “Redemption!” He seriously looked like he just won the world cup. REDEMPTION. Seconds later, Rihanna, in a champagne gown, was ushered into the room, waving her hands in the air singing “Let’s have a round for the assholes.” The party is currently located in Kanye West’s dressing room, where all you can hear are whoops and hollers. Drake just walked in, and if they have plates they’re probably breaking them, Greek-wedding style.
