Dubstep | Tristam & Braken – Flight
Posted by Mach on February 15, 2013
This is one of the best Dubstep tracks out right now. After giving everyone the biggest tease of a clip earlier this week, we can finally dip our ears into the amazing melody of this track. Tristam & Braken turned out to be a dynamic duo with this. In a way I hope that no one remixes this, it is just too good to waste bad remixes on. To be honest, I have no idea who Braken is and I cannot for the life of me find his Facebook. Monstercat doesnt even refer to Braken. Who ever he is, I want to know. Big ups to both Tristam and Braken for this incredible track.
Progressive House | Starkillers, Dmitry KO & Amba Shepherd – Let The Love
Posted by Middy on January 28, 2013
Amba Shepherd has to be the hottest female vocalist in dance music right now. Every song her vocals touch is gold and “Let The Love” is no different. You combine her heavenly vocals with this sublime melody from Starkillers and Dmitry KO, who are known for making big room hits and you have magic. Let the blissful melodies of this track wash over you and start the countdown to the Miami & WMC.

House | Amtrac – Those Days (Original & Remixes)
Posted by Mach on November 6, 2012
Woo, Amtrac bringing in the dance floor fire with this funky House tune. The remixes aren’t even half bad either, but I have to give Amtrac all the credit on this incredible original. I’m not familiar with him in the Disco-House scene, I love it though. This track makes me want to run out to the club right now and bust out.
Bootleg | DJ Trademark – Missing Piece (Leventina x Katy Perry x Robyn x Ke$ha)
Posted by Juicebox on November 5, 2012
DJ Trademark is the Jeremy Lin of the mashup game right now. His tracks were always good, but out of nowhere all of his past releases have been unbelievable. We’ve been huge supporters of Trademark since day one, but with another release next week and an official EP release on the 14th, I’m personally excited to say, it’s his time. Download it.
Chill, Dubstep | We Sink – Cat o’ Nine Tails (Andrea Remix)
Posted by Mach on November 4, 2012
Andrea just dropped a remix days ago, this guy is on a serious roll right now. Everything he releases is pure gold right now. This new remix is chill and laid back like the rest, but also provides that feeling of candles…and a naked chick/dude on your bed, whatever you’re into. Congrats on the 2000 likes Andrea.
Events, FYI | Grand Opening: Echostage D.C.
Posted by Spice on September 19, 2012
To live in D.C. is to get some of the very best electronic music acts brought to your front door.
Yes, I realize that some of you may be raising your eyebrows right now (looking at you, New York), but trust me. We’re quietly killing it down here, and it’s all thanks to a little outfit called Panorama Productions, the brains and brawn behind promotion company Club Glow, which has been connecting the nation’s capital with the genre’s biggest names since 1999. This Saturday, things are going to get even more serious: Club Glow will preside over the launch of D.C.’s first EDM venue, Echostage, a roughly 4000-capacity space with an equally massive sound system that will host huge billings every week. For district area dance fans, this is literally monumental. Club Glow has been operating primarily out of Josephine and Fur Nightclub for the past few years, and the recent explosion of dance music has made the need for a bigger and better venue that much more urgent.
The Echostage launch party kicks off this Saturday with Sander Van Doorn and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and the calendar shows no signs of slowing down; Dada Life, Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Dirty South, and Tiesto are already lined up, and we’re still in the very early days. If you live in the Midatlantic and are starved of that 128 bpm fix, head over to Echostage’s website and Facebook page and scope the details — because this is about to be big.
Hip-Hop, Videos | RiFF RAFF – OBTUSE ANGLE
Posted by A on September 13, 2012
I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again, Jody Highroller is the best performance artist in the game right now. Never far from controversy, Riff Raff’s previous video was taken down “by the haters” because his video showed some “hot buttermilk tits.” Talk about nonsense. “Obtuse Angle” appears on Riff Raff’s “Rap Game Bon Jovi” album.
