Albums | L*o*J Unleashes Experimental Banger, “Mr. Hunt”

Posted by on July 4, 2022

Las Vegas based producer duo L*o*J are a new name to me but their new single “Mr. Hunt” is a head turning banger. Hot off of releases two big releases through Buygore and FUXWITHIT, they’re keeping the limelight on them by going a little more experimental than normal no this one. Tune in to the track above now, keep an eye on L*o*J’s future drops, and read a quote from the group on their latest release after the jump now!

“We built the track around the cover art we had received. Due to the length of the production of the song and that constant changing and searching of ideas (hunting for that perfect sound) we found Mr. Hunt was a good fit. The underground energy should resemble something challenging. Also, the rhythm and atmosphere almost gives you the feeling of getting chased.” – L*o*J

Stunning vocals, a groovy rhythm, and R&B infused percussion is what you can expect from this beauty of a track. What is unexpected is the high voltage drop that seamlessly integrates into the flow of the track while maintaining an unbelievable energy that will have you saying “oh wow!”

Fresh off his new EP Palante, Rell The Soundbender has been on fire as of late. As one of the most active producers you’ll come across, Rell is churning out consistently high energy tracks. This time around, DJ and producer out of Panama, Navaz, attacked Rell’s already spectacular track “Criminal,” with his own unique style of tribal heavy tones and tech house grooves. Allowing an alluring rhythm to sway the track in his way, Navaz brings forth a pallet of compelling sounds. Lay back and enjoy the vibes!

Nothing like an old favorite transformed into something grand. “Pumped Up Kicks” is practically ancient and today’s daily music consumption world. Yet, wvrd. puts some soul and rhythm into the tune. Turning it into a almost-tech house tune with a melodic spin.

It’s clear that wvrd. is on the come up – if he continues to make tunes like these, his rise could be quicker than most would expect.

I’ve had my eye on Razz for a while, so I’m glad to bring you his latest track, an official remix for VÉRITÉ’s single, “Weekend”. This track is very unique given its piano driven verses but with a melodic-future drop. The warm pads and ambient synths really compliment VÉRITÉ’s voice in this track, and Razz’s change up in rhythm allows this to be a track that you can sit back and vibe to as well as move to. Check out the track now, and grab that free download!

Chill, Electronic | Odesza – Say My Name Remixes

Posted by on September 28, 2014

As if an Odesza song isn’t cool enough on it’s own, here are six fantastic remixes of “Say My Name”. Most of the remixes on this album keep the upbeat vibes, and added their own flare. My personal favorite is the Emancipator remix because of they way the vocals were used and the rhythm. One remix that stands out from the others is the Ganz remix. It has more of an upfront feel to it, and more pronounced synths. All of these remixes are free on Soundcloud, and if you haven’t already, you can get Odesza’s album “In Return” on Itunes.

Electro-House | Quintino & MOTi ft. Taylr Renee – Dynamite

Quintino & MOTi ft. Taylr Renee - Dynamite
There is something undeniably awesome about this track. Whether it is the quick succession of synth stutters and risers, or the groove that somehow fits itself into the rhythm, it all fits so well. This was the ID I left Pier 94 on NYE wanting the most and at last here it is. Thank you based Vorwerk. The singer Taylr Renne; look out for her. First she gets on Axwell & Sick Individuals’ track “I Am”, and now this. Watch for her to be singsonging her way around the dance music world very soon.
