Another Monday morning, another chance for smooth singing, Joseph SoMo to boggle my mind with his latest cover. This week, he takes on a John Mayer tune. No easy feat, even for a singer of SoMo’s caliber. The result though, is astounding. Every track SoMo takes on, he meets it with emotion tenfold of the original. He finds ways to relate to the lyrics he’s singing, and tell his own story, even though he didn’t write it. But if you want something phenomenal that he DID write, check out his latest original here. When they’re not busy making feel good, rub yourself music, the furry browed duo of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, also known as The Chainsmokers, spend their days walking around NYC boasting a rather impressive 17.34 inches between the two of them (whatever that means). They have somehow managed to stay off of chat roulette and Riley Steele videos (I didn’t know who she was either. I took one for the team and after a quick 20 minute search came to the conclusion that these guys are into ugly chicks) long enough to create another remix. If there’s one thing I like more than when a below average looking girl sits next to me, but less than a lot of other things, it’s their previous remix of “Around Us”. That track was met with much acclaim, earning over 100k plays on Soundcloud. Their latest remix strays from that formula a little bit. Instead of going for an uplifting, euphoric feeling, they took Two Door Cinema Club’s “Sleep Alone” and added progressive elements while keeping the indie feel intact. The result is a high energy, summertime house track. Enjoy.

Travelling with a progressive trance set is a mandatory factor in my life, and artists like Blend always compliment that tracklisting. At 17 years young, I can only be humbled and amazed by Blend’s already elitist sounding productions. Nothing is too exaggerated about Endless Roads; long builds and subtle breakdowns result in top-tier flight music.

Up and coming artist Deckscar has been working on this track for some 6 months now as a monster exclusive for the FNT fans. I got in contact with this talented artist a while back in hopes of working something out with him, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the end result. This track is surely going to make some noise in the EDM scene, reworking an old dance craze favorite. To help show our support for him, I decided that we would release the track at 1k fans on his Facebook page to help grow his fan base a little more for his other outstanding upcoming releases.

We’ve posted about Clinton VanSciver a few times this year, but this is one of the coolest/most unique tracks we’ve seen come from the young up and comer. He blends his signature Dirty Pop style with flow from Baltimore rapper Hella Hazard, and the result is a something you’ve probably never experienced. The release, out on Prep School Recordings, features several remixes, but my personal favorite is Matt DiMona’s progressive-house take on the track. Check them out below:
