Progressive House | A-Trak & Zinc – Like The Dancefloor (Miles Mason Remix)

Posted by on November 11, 2012

Why is the dance floor empty? Maybe your DJ should have been playing this instead of “Call Me Maybe” and Flo-rida. You don’t really see to many people remixing tracks of A-Trak’s just for the hell of remixing, no offence to those who get dragged into official remixes. Miles Mason is just another random, or is he? I was completely surprised by this remix for multiple reasons. The biggest being, why haven’t I noticed this guy before? I love the build up on this track, once you finally hit the drop you think, ok we made it now what, then those vocals jump in and make the remix complete. This is a sweet remix.

Dubstep | Adele – Skyfall (Clark Kent & Oscar Daniel Remix)

Posted by on October 19, 2012

It is here, the best Dubstep remix of “Skyfall” that you will ever gain the privilege to lay your ears upon. When I first heard Adele’s original of the track I knew this would be the track to remix this year. It had an interesting instrumental set and Adele’s voice is impossibly amazing, but I also knew that many would take a crack at remixing this. I wasn’t wrong, we have already seen countless remixes of “Skyfall,” a few of which have made their way onto FNT. This though, this is the remix, it blows your mind into billions of pieces only to reassemble instantaneously to explode again. Who’d have thought the suave and badass style of 007 could be brought by a duo. Clark Kent & Oscar Daniel just put their names out in the open in an incredible way.

Dubstep | Kill The Noise – Dying Ft. UVS (Craze’s LOC’D OUT Refix)

Posted by on June 18, 2012

Three time DMC World DJ Champ, Craze, just dropped three reworks of his. Like any normal human being, Craze isn’t perfect, but then again he is the only person in the world to have been named World DJ Champ three times. Being the picky listener I am, this one of the three is well worth having more than the others…by a lot. His turntable work is unmatched, doing most of his reworks and remixing in real time on Traktor. If you loved the original of this track from Kill The Noise, no doubt you will love this as well.

Dubstep, Electro-House, Review | Sharam – Our Love: The Remixes

Posted by on March 27, 2012

These remixes were not hyped up very much, but I have been waiting impatiently for their release. The first remix in the set is nothing special in my opinion, no offense to Sharam, but remixing your own track isn’t always a good idea. However, the other two remixes on this set are worth the download. The remix Heren did is crunchy Electro-House, and it is a big track. Heren took a Zedd approach, that is just the vibe I get from this track…#shavestep. The last remix is what I was really waiting for. Dirtyloud are two Brazilian dubstep producers known for their unorthodox dirty drops. On this remix they keep the pace of the intro going, you expect a certain way it will drop, but your wrong, surprised, and pleased.

Dubstep | Dragnette – Pick Up The Phone (RoughMath Remix)

Posted by on January 28, 2012

Wow, this is a great remix from RoughMath. They maintained the beauty of Dragnette’s vocals, being a fan of hers, this is a must when remixing her work. The track drops into a dirty melodic bassline, with the flow of the vocals continuing throughout the drop. This remix sounds awesome, great opening track for a Saturday night.

Hip-Hop | Tupac – Homeboyz (Dirt Monkey Remix)

Posted by on January 1, 2012

Above is Tupac just chilling with his homeboyz…haha. On a serious note, this remix is awesome. Technically it is hip-hop/dubstep, but considering how important Tupac’s verses are to this remix, it didn’t feel right. Doing what every producer should consider when remixing a legend, Dirt Monkey made sure Tupac was the main subject still on this track.
