Live City are back with another splendid free remix. The duo deliver once again with this remix of cheery synths, indie elements of the original and a grinding, jarring drop to provide the thumping Live City sound. Many indie bands have benefited from dance music remixes that bring their name to a whole new swath of potential fans on a global scale. With a remix competition running for “Climbing Walls” currently running, expect this start happening right now. Live City have an EP coming up next month on The Disco Fries label “Liftoff Recordings”, so be on the lookout for that.

Meanwhile… OWSLA has embraced yet another killer artist. Not only does OWSLA bring our attention to another vessel of talent, but with this release, YOGI and OWSLA have finally given me a version of Stay The Night that I can fully get on board with. The original disappointed me, and there had yet to be a remix that I enjoyed all of. YOGI brings the creativity with this tune. Ruthless effects on Hayley’s vocals, and devilish use of a sample from Kendrick Lamar’s Poetic Justice are what stand out for me. Give this dark little treat a listen.
YOGI is also the man behind the original Follow U, the big song back in 2011 that received huge remixes from Xilent, Trolley Snatcha and Submerse among others.

Voting doesn’t open on Beatport until November 12th and I feel like Audeka already has one the top remixes. This Neuro-hop take on the Neuro-funk original is one hell of a dirty remix. The way the bass pours into your ears is like watching lions hunt, every thump is a gazelle being taking out. Make sure to show Audeka some love on this track, they are more than deserving to dominate the contest with this remix. Voting opens Nov. 12th and closes Nov. 25th.

I’m always happy when Patrick Hagenaar sends me new remixes, he always produces uplifting tracks to get you motivated for the day. This time around Patrick remixes those boys from Jersey, Cash Cash’s “Take Me Home” featuring vocals from Bebe Rexha, and it sounds killer. Thanks Pat for sending this over, hope you enjoyed your time at ADE, as much as I did! This is a must listen!

Okay, so I know a lot of covers and remixes of this song have been exponentially blogged on every single site but for the sake of this one, this remix is going up. It’s of the best integration of Hip Hop and R&B that I’ve heard in awhile, and lets be honest, the original is pretty catchy to begin with. Check it.

This collaboration of Terravita and Casey Desmond, both from Boston, is a banger. If you’re familiar with Terravita, you’ll know that this track is not as heavy and frantic as most Terravita tracks are. Casey Desmond has an amazing voice that is showcased beautifully in “Settle The Score”. Her strong vocals sound fantastic with the growls and bass from Terravita.
