I kid you not the past 2 weeks all I kept thinking was how there are an unproportional amount of Biggie remixes vs Tupac remixes, and low and behold, nonchalantly, the homie from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Steve Swift just hit me up, and is all like “yo bro, how are you, check out my new Tupac remix” and here it is, Steve Swift drops a deep house remix of my favorite Tupac record “Changes.” I’m getting the chills listening in my headphones, but I can only imagine hearing this in the club, Tupac lives on!

Dirty Vegas first hit it big with their worldwide smash single “Days Go By”, but since have fallen out of the spotlight even breaking up for 3 years. However they are back with a new summer themed tune “Setting Sun” that has already gone sky high across the charts in Europe. The tune is getting a full two sets of remixes, first from Nora En Pure, Betoko & Chad Tyson, which come out on May 26th, and then another batch a short while later.
Along with Daddy’s Groove and Grum, Brooklyn based & Last Gang Music artists, Leisure Cruise are a part of that second wave of remixes set for release soon. The soothing, summer feel of the track is kept in tact, as the duo strip back a few of the elements and let the vocals and groove shine under a simplified melody. Stream this one here exclusively until it is released.

Dave Edwards drops his electro-pop touch on Kentö’s “Complicated” and packaged it all up in the form of a video for your listening and viewing pleasure. The more I listen to this remix I can only imagine the fun Dave must’ve had making this track in the studio, it’s so funky, and glitchy, it’s impossible not to feel! Mr. Edwards doesn’t release many remixes but when he does, you know you’re in for treat. I’ll let you tell it. This is a must listen!

Wow, there is nothing better than a soothing melody, a sweeping beat, and powerful vocals, and for some reason, the man that we all call Glastrophobie has a touch for packaging up all of these emotions and vibes into soothing remixes for the enjoyment of all, and his latest remix of Lauren Aquilina’s “Get Here” is a world changer! I’ve had the track on repeat all day yesterday, and it’s looking like this track will be the soundtrack to my week or even my Summer. I love this record.
