I really love this remix and have been listening to it for the past few days non stop. One of my favorite artists currently, Direct , is making some amazing music. We may not know who Slushii is, but we don’t really mind, especially if he’s putting out music as good as this! Slushii recently signed to the Canadian-based Monstercat imprint, and to celebrate, he’s just put out a remix of That Poppy’s “Lowlife” that we can’t stop bumping. The remix is Slushii at his finest, as he lays down wavy synths with a pulsing bassline that will have you grooving on the dance floor.

There’s so much nonsense out there in the blog space now. Terrible tunes being re-posted by bloggers and curators who manage the artists. Blogs gaming the Hype machine system. Paying for re-posts. It’s a dirty game. One of the last bastions of credibility on the internet is popular Youtube channel Selected, who shared this excellent tune via their Soundcloud account this afternoon, which I recommend you follow, but I digress.
Sydney based producer Michael Salisbury, also known as Cabu, dropped an incredibly infectious “Stay Lost” remix originally performed by Joe Hertz featuring Amber-Simone. The remix is currently topping the Hypem charts, and rightly so. You can’t help but turn this tune up and sway in your seat at work while you count the hours. “Obsessed” could not be a more accurate representation of what comes to mind after copious spins of Bordertown’s phenomenal remix of the already enchanting Tom & Collins track, “Obsessed.” This remix is truly a cinematic experience, introducing us to its bouncing bass-lines with nothing short of what sounds like an ensemble of strings. Although still full of energy, this track calls on listeners to become entranced with every beat. Bordertown is setting the bar high with this deep house groove and we can’t wait to see what other tricks are up their sleeves.
