Trap | Carnage ft. Migos – Bricks (Dotcom Trap Remix)
Posted by GMONEY on June 30, 2014
We’ve had this kid’s back since day one and there is a damn good reason why. Over the last few months, Dotcom has landed one of the top agents at Circle Talent Agency, had a remix break 3.5 MILLION plays, and he’s consistently playing sold out shows. Today, he takes on Carnage’s, “Bricks” with his signature festival trap sound. Check out the track below and “like” him on Facebook HERE for more releases.
Electronic | Alexa Lusader – White Snow (SirensCeol Remix)
Posted by BP on June 11, 2014
SirensCeol plays with different genres frequently, but this one was really puzzling to categorize. His remix of of “White Snow” by Alexa Lusader is nothing short of fantastic. I must warn you though, the drops will be significantly weirder than you’re expecting. That is the very reason I am posting it. Who doesn’t love a good surprise? He flips the pleasant vocals into more minor, eerie drops. They’re cool in their weirdness, and totally worth the listen. Grab it for free download if the mysterious vibes have pulled you in.

Progressive House | Didrick – A Part Of You
Posted by Mel on May 31, 2014
Didrick is a young producer from Sweden who has flown under the radar of pretty much everybody not from that area. He has done official remixes for Avicii & Nicky Romero’s “I Could Be The One” as well as Cazzette’s “Beam Me Up” and yet he is not very well known. It’s safe to say the main reason for that is because his catalogue of releases is extremely small, with just those two songs being on it. Another entry to that catalogue was made however when Didrick released his first single, “A Part Of You”, not long ago. Quite simply, the song is really good. If he keeps making tracks like this then there’s no doubt he’ll become just as household a name as Ryan Seacrest. Sadly, the song is only out in Scandinavian countries at the moment so give his Facebook a like and stay up to date on the worldwide release. He says it’ll be soon.
Electronic, Progressive House | Porter Robinson – Sad Machine
Posted by Mel on May 13, 2014
“Sad Machine”, Porter Robinson’s follow up to “Sea Of Voices” is even grander than his previous release and maybe even the Skrillex remix of “Levels”. The song is absolute gold and will provide you with yet another reason as to why you should be excited for his upcoming album. Pre-order his album “Worlds”, set for release August 12th here.

Chill, Deep House | Benjamin Francis Leftwich – 1904 (Manila Killa Remix)
Posted by Mel on April 15, 2014
The unique brand of music that Kygo and Thomas Jack have made popular is what Manila Killa has tried to replicate in his latest remix and he definitely succeeded in doing so. The only reason you could tell Kygo didn’t make this is because it doesn’t have the same main lead that pretty much all of his songs have. Other than that though, this is spot on. If by the off chance you were looking for more tropical house themed music, this should fit alongside your Kygo collection nicely.

Hip-Hop | K Theory – Word Is Bond feat. KTSB (NSFW)
Posted by Nick on February 6, 2014
So, like, not to be on a vulgar streak or anything, but this is probably one of my favorite K Theory songs to date, and I’ve been waiting on the release for a while. Definitely about to be your new guilty pleasure, “Word Is Bond” will make you want to sing along for no apparent reason – just make sure you’re alone, because this track is definitely NSFW (see the lyrics in the Soundcloud Description). With big bass and a bold, provocative sound, this song is for sure worth the free download, and a great reason to keep your eye on its San Francisco-based creator(s).

Exclusive, Featured, Interviews | The Two Friends Coach Me Through A Kiss Cam With A Committed Woman, Finish A 50 Shades Of Grey Excerpt And More

The year was 2008. The month was September. It was a brisk Monday morning. The air was thin and the women were thick. A young Matt Halper emerges from his slumber to once again find sentience in his willy after almost a fortnight without. “Ya swooned me bro” he says as he looks across the room at the bottle of Vaseline he sometimes uses. After a quick shower and a thorough application of Old Spice body spray across his unimpressive body, he headed off to school. It was the first day of the school year and he had just moved from the great state of Wyoming to the northeastern region of Guatemala so he was a tad worried that there wouldn’t be any cute girls there, let alone white people. His slightly racist worries were soon cast aside however when on his way to school, he was kidnapped and held for ransom by a middle aged caucasian woman. She didn’t have a weapon or anything, she just simply overpowered him.
Days became weeks and the weeks peaked at three. On the third week of his capture there was a breakthrough. The woman who had intended to hold him for a ransom changed her mind when she realized he was not a very attractive guy so nobody would really care enough to pay a sizable fund for his release, so she just forgot about him. The unexpected demise of Matt Halper was seemingly inevitable at this point and after being trapped in a dark room for weeks, he had just about given up all hope. That is until he heard the undoing of the lock and the door abruptly open. “Here, take this and come with me” a mysterious hooded person said as they tossed him a small cylindrical thing. Matt and his saviour ran through the door only to be confronted by the woman, who was in fact Darth Vader. It was only then that he looked down and realized what it was he was holding. Matt drew his lightsaber and in tandem with the hooded man, began combat with the Sith Lord. They defeated him swiftly and got on the first flight back to America. They were sitting on the plane when Matt broke the silence, looked at his saviour and asked “who are you?”. “The name’s Eli, Eli Manning”.
And that’s the story of how Matt Halper and Eli Sones, known collectively as The Two Friends met. We had a chance to talk to them about mostly non-music related things and it got pretty heated (they insulted my sister but then said jk so I let it slide). Read on for the interview.
