Freestyle, Hip-Hop | Eye Candy Spittin’ Ear Candy?

It’s not everyday you’ll find a smokeshow spitting bars faster than that dude from your high school who thinks he’s a rapper.  I’ll be honest, Bailee Moore, may need some work behind the mic, but when you’re as smoke as she is, it’s hard to fail.  The Cleveland chick claims this to be her first rap ever and if that’s the case, she may have potential.  So what are my FNT faithfuls thinking about this chick?  Is she the next Chanel aka CC (Fantasy Factory’s Rapping Receptionist) — drop a few freestyles then get picked up by Maxim?  Or does she actually have musical talent?

Hip-Hop, Videos | Chris Brown ft. T-Pain – Ni**as In Paris (Music Video)

The Hit-BoyKanye West/Mike Dean/Anthony Kilhoffer produced track off Ye & Jay’s Watch The Throne album is quickly becoming the most remixed track in the game, largely due to the fact the beat is just flat out filthy.  We just saw T.I. give it a go and now rnb-turned rap stars Chris Brown and T-Pain let loose on the track. Well, in reality, it’s only Breezy who works this beat and T-Pain pulls a DJ Khaled and does some high paid shit talking and chirping at the end.  Breezy is still by far a better singer than he is rapper, but he’s definitely progressing with his quick delivery.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Jay Fresh- Otis (SuperVision Remix) Video

Posted by on August 31, 2011

After a quick introduction to the blogosphere, Jay Fresh is back with the highly anticipated visuals to his “Otis” remix which dropped here a few days ago. For a rapper that’s 19 years old, he seems to really have an artistic maturity that places him above the rest. I’m looking forward to more “freshness” as he continues to drops solid tracks on the blog world. Be sure to follow Jay on his journey via Facebook and Twitter, as he represents Dallas while taking the blogosphere by storm. Shout out to El Magico, Jay’s manager, for exclusively sending this over last night.

Hip-Hop | CALiPH – Fly Away

Posted by on August 13, 2011

The other day I asked our FB fans (if you haven’t already done so like us – HERE) to drop their favorite unknown rapper in the comment box and CALiPH is the one that caught my ear. Although I didn’t post a criteria, I was looking for someone with raw talent that might help me restore my faith in the budding hip hop artists. The cuts below were my favorite tracks off his Soundcloud account. “Fly Away” is totally dope, damn, so is Gettin’ Out.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Aziz- Ode To Pete Rock

Posted by on August 5, 2011

I remember the first time I listened to Aziz. He was part of a group at the time, and he was featured on as song called, “Tic, Tac, Toe”. The song quickly became a guilty pleasure of mine. He doesn’t know this, but even today I’ll catch myself reciting his verse like a wanna-be-rapper in my car. Yes, I am a professional in car rapper. No, I don’t care what you think. Yes I’m feeling myself too much right now, pause.

Anyways, here is Aziz’s third single and second music video titled “Ode to Pete Rock” off of his new mixtape “Daydreams of a Spaceshot” which will release on Tuesday, August 23rd. The single is an instrumental that was originally produced by DJ Premier for Das EFX’s track “Real Hip Hop” that Pete Rock later remixed in the mid 1990s. The video for “Ode to Pete Rock” was Directed Calvin Scibilia and shot in New York City and New Jersey.

As always, follow Aziz on Twitter and Facebook. Special shout out to Maxwell Zotz, who’s behind the scenes of Aziz’s operation, and makes things happen on a daily basis.
