Dubstep, Preview | MitiS Ft. Collin McLoughlin – Born (Vocal Mix)

Posted by on April 17, 2013

MitiS Feat. Collin McLoughlin - Born (Vocal Mix)MitiS and Collin McLoughlin have been all of the place lately. I got extremely excited when I saw they collaborated together for a vocal mix. MitiS produced another extraordinary Dubstep original and Collin has done nothing but show us that 2013 is his year. My only negative is that this preview is too short, I NEED MOAR! Luckily we wont have to wait long since MitiS and Collin McLoughlin plan on dropping this gem tomorrow for free.

Dubstep | Reso – When It Drop

After we got this little preview last week, it turns out Reso wasn’t playing an April fools prank after all. Reso has been destroying the scene lately with some of the most creative pieces to release. This new emergence of Neuro-hop is very exciting because the genre has no bounds and Reso is definitely paving the way for people wanting to get involved. I would say without hesitation that he is the current king of Neuro-hop. His tracks always have the perfect blend of hip-hop and neuro/glitch that it’s hard not to listen to the tracks on repeat all day. So much inspiration and creativity is coming from this artist that I would recommend you all follow him and be on the lookout for his releases.

Electro, Featured, Preview | Black Tiger Sex Machine & Kai Wachi – Tribal Gangs

Posted by on March 28, 2013

Now this is a real Electro banger. If this isn’t the next massive raging tune, I have lost all faith in humanity. Kai Wachi was just part of an epic Trap collaboration with Squnto called “Brain Splat”. It is really awesome to see him hit back with a hot preview already with Black Tiger Sex Machine. Despite the fact that this video is only 41 seconds long with the track preview for 30 seconds, one can already taste the sweat that this beast of an original will create on the rave scene. “Tribal Gangs” is set to release on Kannibalen Records on May 7th, mark your calendars.

Drum & Bass | Billain – Blockfield/Boogie

Billain - Blockfield/Boogie

Sick two track Neurofunk release from Billain after his awesome remix for Reso. Neurofunk for those that didn’t know, is a sub-genre of Drum & Bass, known for having more stabs over the bassline and sharper backbeats. Leaving you with a fast paced and much more bass infused listen than the usual Drum & Bass. Billain has mastered this very difficult and detailed style of production. “Blockfield” starts out with coastal sounds (water trickles, seagulls, etc), then moves onto a few erie synths that take you into an energy filled drop. “Boogie” has to be my favorite of the two tracks though. It has that Russian warehouse feel, but once it drops my ears felt like they had just been thrown through time and are currently raving in the future with Samurai Jack. Billain did a great job on this two track set and as a bonus I have provided a preview of another one of his upcoming releases for April.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Mike Stud – Started From The Bottom (Remix)

A few days back Drake released “Started From The Bottom”, a preview off his third studio album. It didn’t take long for Mike Stud to catch wind of it and have Paul Judge produce a remake of the instrumental so he could take his hand at it. I can’t take sides on which is my favorite because I dig both versions, but I definitely think Mike set the bar high on this one. There couldn’t have been a better candidate to do a remix of this song. If you never heard the original from Drake you can listen here.

My good friends,

It has truly been too long. I assume you’re all keeping well and making the most of this year that has been given to us. Today is the day to begin sharing my newest work with you. This is the first single off of my upcoming album. I feel sometimes that people don’t have enough information about my beginnings and therefore they make up a life story for me that isn’t consistent with actual events. My family and my second family (consisting of the best friends anybody could ever have) all struggled and worked extremely hard to make all this happen. I did not buy my way into this spot and it was the furthest thing from easy to achieve. I am proud of every part of my past and I’m excited for this song to find a place in your life as well. I didn’t feel I needed any interviews or radio or press to launch this song. It felt right to come back to the site that I started on and release it to the people that started here with me. Judging by this post, the tour that we’ve been planning, the conversations about new songs and album artwork…I think it’s safe to say we’re back together again. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. – Drake
