House, Mainstream Remix, Mashups | Leona Lewis – Collide (Afrojack Festival Remix)
Posted by Juicebox on July 19, 2011
Originally wasn’t going to post this, but as much as I hate the fact Afrojack remixed Leona’s version; it’s a dirrtyy remix. If you’re still not up to speed on the whole Avicii vs. Leona Lewis case, check out the article we wrote earlier this week here. Judging by Afrojack’s tweets, it seems like Afrojack’s a tad jealous of Avicii’s recent fame and therefore supporting Leona on the case…after the tweets pictured above he went on to tweet congratulations to “@Leonalewismusic. Pretttttyy damn sure he should have a fellow DJ’s back in this case over Leona’s Lewis’s and pretttyyy damn sure he wouldn’t be feeling the same way if he was in Avicii’s shoes. So uh Afrojack, sick song but uh, karma’s coming at you like this ice cream truck…all day #teamavicii.

RnB, Videos | De-Lor – Superbass (Nicki Minaj Cover)
Posted by GMONEY on July 6, 2011
Sometimes when you’re a blogstar, you’re usually caught up posting what’s been sent to you. You’re piled high and deep with so many e-mails it makes it virtually impossible to have the time to actually seek out new music. However, when I was browsing facebook “deleting and un-tagging” all these wanna-be rappers who usually post their videos on my wall, I came across a video in my mini-feed that blew me away.
Sebastian “De-Lor” Michael is a an up and coming singer/songwriter/producer from Boston who’s influenced by the sounds of R&B, pop, and electro. Although his Facebook and Twitter leave many questions about his story unanswered, De-Lor is an artist that you should keep your eye on. Leave it to FreshNewTracks to find the undiscovered talent. Hat tip to Chris Taylor at MicControl for sharing this.

Electro | Silver Medallion – Live Forever
Posted by GMONEY on June 27, 2011
We have been following Silver Medallion for a minute now have been extremely impressed by their work. We were lucky to score an exclusive drop of their lastest single “Live Forever.” This track couples a really dope electro-influenced beat with catchy raspy vocals to create a Nu-Disco heater.
As an added bonus, the first 10 people to share the link to this post on their facebook status and email a screen shot (on a mac shift+apple 3) to [email protected] will get a Silver Medallion sticker mailed to them, and one person out of the 10 will also get a mixtape made with custom artwork designed by Oren of Silver Medallion. Moombahton | Dillon Francis and Skrillex & Diplo | Moombahton
Posted by Mach on June 17, 2011
I was debating just throwing Moombathon tracks with electro post, but it’s gotten so popular it deserves its own. Dillon Francis usually does dubbier sounding tracks. This new one of his is lighter, but no complaints from me.

Props to Middy for the youtube post of this track. Diplo dropped a mix on soundcloud a few days ago with a preview of this track squeezed in silently. I dont know who Kristian is, but thanks for editing this preview to be a little longer. I have to give both Skrillex and Diplo insane credit on their music careers. Neither of them settle on just one style of music and their great skills continue through everything they do.
