Electro-House, House, Progressive House, Videos | Dinka, Kim Fai, Moguai, R3hab

Posted by on December 25, 2011

The holiday season means spending time with family, being thankful for what you have, but more importantly, artists give out free stuff, which will be a theme this week. All of the songs in this post were freebees from artists for the holiday season and you can be sure that there will be more. Dinka makes this smooth piano trance house song that is perfect for a relaxing Christmas morning or evening sitting by the fire, sipping on some eggnog. The Braveheart sample is genius and shows how good a producer this female Dj is.

Kim Fai gives out this freebee after a successful year on Steve Angello led Size Records and is set to have an even better 2012. With varying synths and a great piano line, this is a quality song you will want to have.

Moguai goes back to his old ways with this song with a more mellow house song that sounds like the stuff that got him signed to mau5strap in the first place such as “Optinuum“. It is a great relaxing song from the German EDM vet.

R3hab gives out this free remix of Steve Aoki’s classic song “I’m In The House” as thanks for the absolutely massive year he has had with successful remix after remix and touring the world becoming one of the world’s hottest Djs overnight. This does not have the signature chainsaw madness and may not be his best remix to date, but it is definitely worth a listen from the dutch star.

Dubstep | Avicii – Levels (Skrillex Remix)(Rami Ross Edit)(Sheffield Version)

Posted by on December 17, 2011

As much as Mach and I say we hate Skrillex remakes, I think this one earned itself a post. Ever since the first video surfaced of the Levels remix by Skrillex, everyone has been going crazy over which version was going to be released. While most people were pleased with the final version that leaked, their was still a large group who liked the first version better. Rami Ross managed to recreate that version closely identical to Skrillex’s first version, so I thought I would post it up for those who still wanted it.

DO SOMETHING

Dubstep | RUN DMT – Bass Drum

Posted by on December 15, 2011

Squeezing in one last post before I leave in an hour to spend the next 12 in airports and on airplanes. I was lucky enough to catch RUN DMT this past summer at Camp Bisco. They were absolutely nuts, one of my favorite sets. They just dropped this sick dubstep banger. The track doesn’t go too crazy, reminds me of early dubstep style.

Here it is! Knife Party’s 100% No Modern Talking EP! We wanted to wait until 30,000 facebook likes, but lets be serious, if you have something like this just laying around you can’t not share it. This thing is intense, Sev and I had gotten to the point where we only wanted a few of the tracks on here, but after listening, we have come to the conclusion that this is one of the greatest EPs FNT will post. Enough chit-chat, time for some epic tunes!

Dubstep | ill.Gates vs Die Antwoord, Cryptex, and HULK

Posted by on December 7, 2011

Today ill.Gates made a post on facebook saying that if that post hit 1,500 likes, he would drop a free track. 2 hours later he was shocked to see that he was well over the likes needed, and just dropped this sick collaboration with South Africa’s Die Antwoord. They even put together a little music video to go with the free track.

Cryptex, the producer who brought us the first Lean Back dubstep remix and many others, dropped this glitch-hop gem today. The original of this track was already awesome, Cryptex made it better.

HULK post a preview of this track on his soundcloud right before the official remixes of Sunlight dropped. I assumed that it was included, obviously it wasn’t. As most of HULK’s tracks are, I thought it was going to be another one of his tracks we can never have. Thank God I was wrong again.

Progressive House | St. Paul – Svea, Live It Good, & Precious

Posted by on December 6, 2011

St. Paul is yet another Swede set to catch fire in 2012. At the age of 15, without any musical knowledge Paul would admire his friends work in the studio, later to become an essential part of his life. After spending more time in the studio lead to every day in the studio, developing an ear for music with no problem making new, great tracks. Paul’s influences range from Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso, and Avicii just to name a few. His goal is to play house festivals around the world and inspire others the way he got inspired by music. Unfortunately downloads aren’t decorating this post, just a heads up on some fresh new talent ready to launch. I’ll keep you posted.
