Eric Sharp and Tenova have teamed up for a big new bass-driven, house inspired track called “Hallucination”, which is seeing its release this week through Tommie Sunshine’s label, Brooklyn Fire. Anytime Tommie Sunshine puts his stamp of approval on something, you know it’ll be good, stating, “There are few House tracks that get under my skin like this one. Let this track wash over you, and I’m quite sure it will deliver the titular ‘Hallucination’ as promised.” This track is melodic and has a beautiful yet powerful bass line, making it not only perfect for dance floors but for those warm summer days as well! Aash Mehta has been on a roll! Having recently dropped remixes for Kap Slap, Gazzo, and Molly Moore – Aash is back with a remix of Elephante’s newest track, “Closer”. Aash said it perfectly, so I’ll let him do the talking here: “I had the honor of sharing the stage with Elephante about a few months ago in Detroit – and when he dropped this track at the show, I instantly fell in love. When it was officially released, I hit up Phante’s team and they were kind enough to let me put my spin on this bad boy. I like to think of what I did with this remix as “melodic, yet powerful”. Clean Bandit. What can you say about this super-group that hasn’t already been said. They pump out quality tune after quality tune. That’s no easy task, as dropping hit single after hit single takes serious talent. Recruiting X-Factor alumnus Louisa Johnson, Clean Bandit may have another summer smash on their hands with their brand house crossover “Tears” single that I’ve had on repeat all weekend. The Geek x Vrv are back with the official music video for the name single off of their Origami EP, and we can’t stop watching it. The four-minute video is a stop-action type of film that follows a girl through a variety of different daily tasks that all of some sort of interesting twist to it. It’s the perfect counterpart to the track, which is a fusion of dance and breakbeat that perfectly shows off The Geek x Vrv’s signature style of production.

The LA-based producer Justin Jay has been killing it lately with his Part 1 and Part 2 of his Fantastic Voyage (The Album!) out on Black Butter Records and Freerange Records respectively. Now, Justin’s taking it back to the States by teaming up with Josh Taylor, once again, on “Let Go,” a groovy, funk-filled track that we can’t stop bumping. Taylor’s smooth, laidback croons offer the perfect balance to the blues-inspired guitar melodies and infectiously catchy hi-hats.
