Ever since it’s release, EDX’s “Missing” has been making the rounds online and offline with widespread blog and DJ support. This Swiss-based No Xcuses mastermind has a knack for creating smash house tracks, and he never ceases to impress, despite his high output of both originals and remixes. Ahead of his No Xcuses vs. Enormous Tunes bus tour launch this Friday, EDX released “Missing” on Beatport, as well as the visual treatment for the catchy cover of the Everything but the Girl track of the same name. News | EDX Announces 15-Date No Xcuses vs. Enormous Tunes Bus Tour

After a year consisting of a world tour, chart-topping productions, most recently his remix of The Avener’s “We Go Home,” and a handful No Xcuses parties, house mainstay, EDX, is hitting the road in 2016 for a 15-stop North American bus tour. His famed radio show and event brand, No Xcuses, is partnering with the influential label, Enormous Tunes for the month-long journey. The merry crew of performers on this tour includes EDX, Nora En Pure, Croatia Squad and Antonio Giacca, along with some special guests from the No Xcuses and Enormous Tunes squad. They’ll kick off the tour at A.I. in Washington DC, and hit some major US and Canadian cities along the way before closing out on the west coast. There is something to be respected about artists that can’t be categorized into a specific genre and Paper Diamond is definitely one of those cats. The genre spanning producer out of Boulder, Colorado is in the midsts of headlining his Cold Crush Tour. If your not able to catch him on the road and you happen to be in Vegas after March 26th you can catch him at club Surrender.
A few days back Hypetrak premiered Paper Diamonds latest offering. “Black Rose” is light, easy-going tune that rides the cusp between a Hip Hop instrumental and a downtempo electronic jawn. These guys know how to throw down. Each one of them is one of the premier headliners out there in that they don’t just serve up the same tracks and really get after it each night. “Fantazia 360” by NV Concepts (explained in the video above) ventures outside the norm by incorporating a theatrical experience into its show. The goal behind their movement is obvious; to supplement the monotonous stage productions seen elsewhere and start a new breed of EDM events. Will Fantazia 360 set a new precedent? Will Tiesto, Avicii, Dada Life, etc start to feature the likes of acrobats and fire breathers? I think NV Concepts is moving in the right direction by trying to add more performance value to shows so I’d like to see this progression come to fruition. However, I’m weary that the unauthentic party goers of our time will continue to settle for less.

Laidback Luke is a man who never rests with his Mixmash forum where he responds to all music submissions and tirelessly responds to his fans tweets and Facebook messages like few other artists. All the while he is able to crank out bangers like this one, “Speak Up” with Wynter Gordon. He has been playing it out for the better part of a year now and has really left it a mystery of when he would release this monster until very recently when he released the preview and the release date on March 12th. He is coming over the US for a massive US tour with many more dates to be announced, so do not miss him when he hits your city / area because it will be a party you would be remiss to skip. For those of you heading down to WMC & Ultra check out his Mixmash Pool Party, among the many ridiculous shows that week, because the lineup is great and it is an all day/night pool party. Listen to the preview for “Speak Up” and mark your calender for March 12th as this is going to big. April will remixes of “Speak Up” from the likes of Chris Lake and Mark Knight among others.

Although I rarely seek them out, every once in a while I’ll come across a dope band. This aptly titled band is everything you’d expect from a group called “Reef’d”. Take a little Rebelution, throw in SOJA along with some amateur flare and you’re all set. Here’s what the guys had to say about themselves
