Elephante just dropped a brand new original called “Catching On”, featuring the lovely vocals of Nevve. This is slightly different from what we’re used to hearing from Tim Wu, but it’s still as ear pleasing and dance floor worthy as anything else he’s put out. This is truly what separates the good from the great – the ability to change it up song after song while still remaining consistent in quality (if not bettering it). Elephante says that “this song started on a rainy day in LA… it was all gray outside and i just started messing around until this “wuub wub wuub wub wubwubwubwubwub” thing appeared in my head… i didn’t think much of it at first, but it turned into one of my favorite tracks i’ve ever made.” Definitely check out “Catching On” now, and don’t be surprised when you fall in love with it!

It’s no shocker that Felix Jaehn is a mastermind in the tropical house genre. The German producer became instantly famous when he released his reggae, pop-infused remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader” last summer, which skyrocketed to the #1 spot on iTunes charts in over 55 countries. Suddenly bestowed with a huge international fan base, Felix was prepared to maintain that energy by showing off his musical dynamism by working with some of most talented producers and artists in the industry. Just last month, his pop-infused single “Can’t Go Home” with powerhouse artists Steve Aoki and Adam Lambert demonstrated the 21-year-old producer’s effortless ability to cross through genres and step outside his comfort zone.
Now, Felix Jaehn returns to once again surprise us with another genre-defying gem. His newest track “Cut The Cord” with Berlin-based producer Hitimpulse is a bouncy, evocative tune that highlights a fusion of rolling piano scales, thick synths, and a punching breakbeat rhythm.

This is an absolute smash, I recently discovered this tune and man oh man this thing sounds like its beachside or poolside ready. It’s finally getting really nice, and this is just a tease for summer, pools, and posting up outside. Sokko is starting make a name for himself, creating a super bright and clear sound, and I can’t wait to hear more killer tunes from him in 2016!

Melbourne indie/electro-pop producer, Emerson Long, just shared his latest single, “Heatwave”. The first of many planned by the producer in 2016, “Heatwave” is moving and emotional, featuring beautiful vocals with melodic synths. Emerson put it perfectly when he said, “This track was based around a relatively simple idea of meeting someone a little bit special…I just want ‘Heatwave’ to be something people can come together and have fun with…Something that can add a little touch of summer to your life.” Given the freezing temperatures outside right now, I’m sure we can all use a ‘touch of summer’.
