Videos | Watch the Official Trailer For the I Am Hardwell: Living The Dream Documentary
Posted by Tay on October 14, 2015
Hardwell’s career can briefly be described as a whirlwind of success, but his new documentary I Am Hardwell – Living the Dream gives us a detailed look into the life of one of the biggest DJs in the world. Following Hardwell through his solo tour, as he visits 34 cities around the world, the documentary masterfully captures the true energy of a Hardwell show. The film’s trailer was premiered at Amsterdam Dance Event, followed by screenings in his home country of the Netherlands. Directed by Robert Piree, the same director of the 2013 documentary I Am Hardwell, the film takes a look at the Dutch producer’s start in DJing through his continued international success and ever-evolving artistic and musical visions.

A new and upcoming DJ out of the Netherlands is starting to gain some popularity with his remixing talent. Jasper Dietze’s newest work is a remix of Maroon 5’s “Sugar”, and it will have you moving. Jasper mixes in some very nice piano chords with the original Maroon 5 lyrics and pulls it all together with a catchy moving beat. This one is a definite hot summer track and lucky for us the download is free on his soundcloud, just follow the link below. While you’re there give some of his other tracks a listen and show some love.

This Electro-Pop styled gem takes a more mellow approach to pop which is a nice change of pace. Nick Klein is a Netherlands duo consisting of vocalist Nick Klein and producer Ferdous Dehzad. “Paralyzed” is the stylish debut track from their unnamed upcoming EP set to release later this year. Nick Klein’s vocal approach is one of wonder, making it easy to get lost in Ferdous’ drumming. One can’t help but close their eyes and bump to this. Their EP has no release date set, but if this track is a good reflection of what is to come. I can only hope they let us know soon.
Deep House | Funkerman – Speed Up (Robby East Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on November 5, 2014
This song should have a million views. It’s too good. It’s a shame people are stuck on progressive house (yuck) because Robby East has a real masterpiece on his hands. Premiered a few weeks ago on “Heldeep Radio” Robby East is an up-and-comer from the Netherlands signed to Spinnin’ Records. Keep your eyes on this young gun, I think he has more ammo in the chamber. Tune and a half!
Deep House | Kraak & Smaak – Mountain Top (Original Mix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 2, 2014
The legendary Netherlands trio, Kraak & Smaak, drop their first ever release on Spinnin’ Deep. The gritty baseline, accompanied by the male vocals, and quality synth make this track undeniable. You better work until it’s time to stop. Kraak & Smakk. Spinnin’ Deep. The quality tunes continue.
Progressive House | Sander van Doorn – Right Here Right Now (Neon)
Posted by Middy on February 11, 2014
The vocal mix of his tune stunning tune from last year “Neon”, Sander van Doorn releases “Right Here Right Now”. It can be dicey to do vocal mixes of well established instrumentals and we have seen this happen to mixed success in the past couple years with the vocal mixes of “Spaceman” and “Tsunami” (you had no idea they did one) decided failures and the vocal mix of “I Could Be The One” working out quite well. This should turn out to be one of those successes, reviving the tune and giving it the potential for more commercial appeal without sacrificing the integrity of the tune. This song has become quite the hit that even one of the top soccer (football) clubs in the Netherlands PSV Eindhoven has decided to use it as its anthem.
Progressive House | Claire – Games (Boris Deckers Remix)

Ripped straight Nicky Romero’s Protocol Radio set and also played on Tiesto’s Club Life 348, this is one of the best progressive house remixes I’ve heard in a minute by Boris Deckers of Claire’s “Games.” Claire’s vocals and overall song, layered with Boris’ chord progression make for a stellar track. This is my first time hearing of the young 19 year old producer from the Netherlands, but he’s not going unnoticed already having signed a publishing deal with Cloud9, who also signed Armin Van Buuren and Hardwell among others. I genuinely look forward to the release of this track! This is a must listen!
