Brandy Shanice dropped the music video for this beautiful R&B tune just last Summer, and I am happy to finally be able to share the download with all. Evil Needle did an exceptional job on the production of this bedroom/smokeroom jam. My’Key Iso’s verses were the perfect way to introduce the track, setting the scene before Brandy Shanice comes in with her breathtaking voice to take you to that blissed out world.

The TDE label mates, Isaiah Rashad and SZA teamed up a few weeks back to form the soft-spoken and tender “Ronnie Blake”. The power-duo has recently returned to the scene with their music video accompaniment. The video for “Ronnie Drake” is nothing incredibly detailed or cinematic, however, it does show a side that holds true to who Isaiah Rashad is as a person and as an artist.

I’m sure we’ve all heard this song at least once by now, or seen the hammer licking music video everyone’s so worked up about on the Internet. Skrux remixed this popular song into a beautiful melodic masterpiece. Not that it came as a surprise, because Skrux has been on point lately. He expertly builds up the intro into rising and falling bass hills and synth chops. My personal favorite part is around 2:30 when he drops the vocals down a few octaves. This one’s free!

SUBMiT & Pharoh, the two MC’s making up the free flowing hip hop trio, STNDRD. Both have impeccable flow and when they are in front of the camera, their body language only emphasizes the meaning of the lyrics. Combatting with that ping rap approach, the two shred the @OddCoupleBeats production, handing the mic back and forth, each delivering again and again a great verse. Detroit native Big Sean dropped the music video for his latest single “Fire” off his upcoming album Hall Of Fame. The GOOD Music rapper recruited video vixen Miley Cyrus for the visuals, and she’s not twerking in this one. Why you may ask? Big Sean explains to MTV News: “I wanted somebody who was beautiful and I wanted to take her out of her element… she symbolizes the beauty of a lot of women overcoming different relationships and being as beautiful as a flower.” I love the production on this record by DJ Camper, and if you haven’t heard it yet, you should. Big Sean says that this song is about “getting through your own fire, making it through the fire.” So rise up and enjoy this free download thanks to Samsung!

When the acapella of this song was given away by Calvin Harris himself, I immediately went to the washroom, splashed some water on my face and put some lotion on my hands cause they were kinda dry in preparation of an amazing remix that I knew was sure to come. I’m not really a huge fan of the original. To me it’s just a semi-enjoyable pop song. In fact, I just watched the music video for it and am now a bit annoyed because Mr. Harris and Ellie Goulding kissed a few times and as a guy I don’t really know how to react to two people kissing it’s like they are just making me feel bad that I don’t have a gf but whatever I don’t even care. I was waiting for somebody to turn the pop song into a huge, wonderfully atmospheric progressive track and when I saw that Swanson had remixed it I knew my search was over. To me, the original is a night spent watching cooking tutorial videos on Youtube while Swanson’s remix is a night spent hanging out with Miley Cyrus and watching her make a fool of herself like in that one music video. So, in conclusion, Swanson remixed this track perfectly. If you enjoyed Ellie’s vocals but wanted an instrumental with a little more substance then this is it.

Calvin Harris just dropped a massive music video for his upcoming single “Thinking About You” featuring the lovely Ayah Marar, and folks this video is legendary. There are actually two videos on YouTube at the moment due to a few glimpses of nudity, and a steamy sex scene in a private jet, so if you’re feeling risque and a nice pair of buttox doesn’t bother you, feel free to enjoy the explicit version. I’m still trying to figure out what the story line behind this video is, but nonetheless I can’t help but be a fan of the cinematography, and the epic shots… Oh and if you’re wondering who Ayah Marar is or where she comes from, she’s one of Calvin’s closest friends, and currently has an album out called “The Real” which I invite all of you to check out, as I’m sure we’ll be hearing more of her as “Thinking About You” climbs up the charts, and into your favorite Top 40 radio stations…
