While royalty is rarely served on a silver platter, NY native, Kurt Rockmore has his sights set on a gold plated crown. Early in 2013, Kurt released his debut project, Red Carpet Ignorance, which illustrates his opening with red carpet treatment. The project is sealed off with an outro track entitled “To Be King”. Above are the corresponding visuals featuring grammy nominated singer/songwriter Golden Chyl, as they collectively question what it takes to be king. Mike Stud is back and puts down the party music to deliver us a song on a much more serious note. It’s about a girl he met while on tour who was struggling with depression, drug abuse and thoughts of suicide. Mike reached out to her and has given her comfort since hearing her story.
